I have Silkies, and Amberlinks of which neither is listed here. Amberlink is a hybrid bird of three species and will never breed true, created for egg production. Silkies are pretty poofy birds. Still they are chicken and still not listed.
Most of the "eagles" seen in urban areas of India are actually kites, people. The overall brown ones are black kites, the ones with white heads are brahminy kites.
Hello Sir. I noticed a colony of adjutant storks near phahund in UP. I couldn't take pics as I was on train. But i think one must study the migration of these species to these new sites
Indian Gaur is the only wild bovine found in the western ghats, mithun are domesticated offsprings of a gaur and cow. Notice the sizes and features being similar however the coat, fur and headsize. Mithuns have coloration that would have made it vulnerable in the wild, there are some which have Holstein Friesian pattern!!. Indian Gaur is the only type of Guar or wild bovine in India everything else is domesticated and crossed bred.
