When I first heard you on The Detectorists I saw how unique you were and searched you out on the net. I had read some of Robert McFarland's work and enjoyed it very much. However, together you seem to have risen to greater heights. Now with the animation on the this piece unparalleled in any other pop video, in my view, you have become the voices of a generation who speaks for the environmentalists in our community today and for the future. I must have watched this series six times now, and I've just watched the episode where you perform this in the pub as Johnny Piper -- this is one of the best, funniest and most innocent TV shows I've ever seen -- oh for a simple life. You're a superb performer Sir, and apart from this, One Life is also a masterpiece.
I live abroad, and last year was my first opportunity in almost four years I got to go home, and for Christmas no less. I stayed with my parents and watched the entire show from beginning to end with my mum. I even started to sing along with the theme tune. During the last episode, on my last day before I'd be going back abroad, I started singing along and looked at my mum who was crying, so I gave her a big hug and we watched the episode with tears in our eyes. This song has given me that forever memory.

My dad was a hydrogeologist (water scientist) and his last word was "water" (he was thirsty in hospice - you can't give water to the dying I learned...) This is beautiful. Water forever remains a sign from my father's spirit self. He was very, very difficult (okay violent) in real life but now that he's crossed over he's transformed into love, and the water flows. Thank you for this video!

I do that they heal but as I said to my spouse this morning most bad people domt go to heaven so if he was bad and violent he musta been good most of his life and or something special either way I'm glad u feel more love from him and that you've both healed
