This lady is Brilliant!! I have watched Keeping up Appearances all this while, and heard that she could sing and is a Clasically trained Opera singer. I just never knew her Vocals was so really Beautiful. Thanks to RU-vid and who uploaded this for displaying this Gem of a person. She was just having fun with the song, and you can see she still has her Acting and Comedic timing just the same!!
Nothing against Marni because I'm a great fan. But I think that there is NO reason for Audrey to be "cut" from the voice tract for whatever reason. She sounds fine to me. What about the dismal performances of Vanessa Redgrave in CAMELOT or Omar Sharif in FUNNY GIRL? And I'm a singer and a former director of over 40 community theater productions and high school musicals including MY FAIR LADY (one of the greatest) and FUNNY GIRL (another blockbuster). Fortunately they were both very successful. You work with whatever you are dealt. Contracts or otherwise. It's that simple.
