Hey ya'll! Welcome to the chaos! 😜 My name is Kim, I’m 31 years old, and I am a stay at home homeschool mom to my 13 year old, 4 year old and a 2 year old. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and we reside in South Louisiana 🎭🦞 My goal for my channel is, in short, to normalize lived in homes. All of our lives look and run differently. So of course our homes will be the same. Some will be messier than others and some will well, look like mine 😅 Either way, no matter what your home looks like, I’m here for you! Whenever I do find the time to clean, I pick up my camera and film it in hopes to bring you all of the motivation, inspiration, and encouragement so you can get done whatever you need to in your home. So, if that sounds like your jam, go ahead and hit the subscribe and the bell! 🔔 It’s completely free, it’s just going to let you know every time I upload a video. I can’t wait to meet you! 🤗

I know it is really popular to put powders on your floors. However, you should really refrain from doing so since it will clog and ruin modern vaccumes and shampooers. Also. If you do use a shampooer, do jot use a lot of solution in it. Very little, pretty much the size of a quarter. Shampooer solutions have plastics in it that will actually coat your carpet and eventually ruin your carpet. They bank on people putting a ton of cleaner in the tank thinking it will clear better but will actually ruin it. Especially if you sprinkle powder and then shampoo later. You will never 100% get up that powder and once you shampoo you gunk up your shampooer and carpets
I used to use a tiny bit of laundry detergent in water for my carpet machine. And if I knew I was going to have guests a quick go with some nice smelling fabric softener made the place smell great. I would not recommend using fabric softener often for the same reason you recommend not using a ton of carpet cleaner.
I have a shark NV352 navigator lift away. Works great for pet hair but the bin fills up extremely fast. I have never found a vacuum this good at picking up the hair though so I just deal with having to empty it frequently. I also don't think it came with an upholstery brush attachment for the hose so I'd recommend getting one if you don't already have one.
From WA state. I have three young kids, the oldest is severely autistic and my house seems to always be a mess. It’s hard to get my girls to listen because their brother is treated with more lenience. I could not force myself to clean yesterday and I’m actually just going to watch for the motivation. Normally I clean along so I don’t ever chat. This is a first 😄. Loving your content and subscribed.
I so appreciate your willingness to share, where were you 20 years ago when I was dealing with the same issues. Since we are empty nesters now, I am much better but you have inspired me to go through all my rooms again and get rid of more stuff I didn't remember even having in those hidden shelves, drawers, and cupboards. Thank YOU!!!
Kim...where are you? You ok? I see this video was posted a month ago. I'm the person who's husband had esophageal cancer diagnosed 17 months ago...and this past Feb. 7th he is diagnosed with stage 4 and all they can do is try to beat the cancer back to just maybe give him some extra time.....anyway ever since that day its like I can't move, think, or what ever but I am watchin you today and see what I can get done. Thx for your videos!~Jodi
