Nice work! I like how your team coordinates together, very efficient. Have you ever seen people put black diamond on top of wet crack fill so they can seal coat the same day?
Question for you. Are you in Portland, Oregon? If so, I am a brand new to seal coating and am wanting to start a business and could use a hand with some questions. If that sounds like something you’d be into please let me know :).

Great video! Nice big driveway... So you can just put new crack fill right over the old crack fill? You don't have to do anything to the old stuff first?
This just drives me nuts. I was taught way differ and you let it drip over the edge and then brush it side to side to fill voids and there’s no excess dripping and puddling and running into the yard at all. And for sure you don’t spray driveways, you want to brush it all to fill voids and make sure to work the brush 1/2 a brush length overlap to fill voids both ways. Always always always brush driveways and you do exactly what u did on the first coat to give em quality work. Don’t just spray and not cut in again. U want wet material if you’re gonna spray so it all blends. Anyone watching this and wants to do the diy stuff, just pony up the money and have someone do it. Homedepot or lowes material is trash. U want that 30% water mix and add silica sand for texture and latex additive to give it some flex when wheels are turning on it. And surely don’t want to see your thick raised brush marks so the driveway in this video, I’d do by hand by myself in 4hrs one coat brush and that’s edging and cleaning and wire brushing all edges and dirty spots and push blower to clear it off. Two coats, by myself I’d have it done in 7hrs
We just had our driveway paved. Whoever was operating the roller ran through some dirt before getting back up on to the asphalt. So there's a large area that's discolored because his roller wasn't clean. Wife hates it. Asphalt is now a few weeks freshly paved. Is it too soon to put a seal coat on top of it to make her happy? She wants it perfectly black and nice looking. If we can just seal it now and make it look perfect, what product do you recommend? I'm going to do it myself because we are tired of having to rely on someone "doing it right the first time." That hasn't worked out for us lately.
Omg the overspray. Do yall even tip your wand or are you to scared to get it on you? I’d really hope you brush out away from garage doors with that overspray you are doing my guy. It’s crazy how people have a business in this field of work but don’t think about things as such. That’s just laziness. Been doing this for 10 years and if I ever seen you do that I would fire you. 😂 I would also hope you second coat that with all the light spots and man are yall not gonna edge that driveway or just leave overgrown grass? I wouldn’t let future customers see this video.
Everyone saying he should’ve put more layers of white paint for the handicap, relax… Half of what the stencil covered was new asphalt, and not even seal coated yet. Believe it or not, new asphalt doesn’t take paint the same way a weathered and sealed surface would. He can do 3-4 layers of paint but it will hardly ever get in those pits! That’s what makes it look like a bad job to an untrained eye. If he sprayed layers till those pits where filled, he’d have to wait 30mins every handicap for the stencil to dry (weather dependent). And not just waiting for it to dry, but the outlines of the stencil will get caked an leave unwanted marks which he’ll have to go back over with blue paint again. Yall just think everything is perfect and you’re wrong. This guy sprayed his layout the same way it’s been done when you were in your dad’s balls. Now, grow some.
Bro I love the fact you put your recording gear in the description but what about the work gear lol. We use a 200’ rope on an old movie real. It roles up quick but the chalk we use doesn’t stand out and snap as strong as what you’re using. Can you please let me know which chalk line you’re using and which marking chalk? The chalk my company buys comes in hemispheres and after time it’s hard to mark on the spot. I’d appreciate it a lot brotha!
