Wait.. how is it legal to fly anywhere there? I assume you have PArt 107 and you got a waiver to fly over city/roads/people? Plus.. the height had to be over 400 feet right? But I forget if you can fly up along a building that is over 400 feet legally (assuming all else is legal)? I think you can right.. within 400 feet of the structure and up to 400 feet above it?
10:00 the reason it wont is because you didnt remove it prior to the sky mask. the removal tool should be done before any masking because its trying to remove it off the mask not the base layer of the photo, if that makes sense.
I see you export to H.265/HEVC. I see the file size is heavily compressed when using that format. Doesn't that lose a lot of coloring data if you want to edit your footage in DaVinci Resolve/Premiere Pro etc. afterwards? Or do you recommend to still use H.265/HEVC because of the convenient compressed file size? What do you usually do? Thanks a lot!
Hey, love your videos. Do you have tips on to maintain vertical composition while shooting on fpv + gopro? I find my self shooting horizontally and then cropping vertically and it looses the composition and looks crappy.
Hey, thanks! Depending on what you’re using, you may be able to turn on gridlines in your FPV camera to have a better idea of what’s in the “vertical zone” while you’re flying. I personally do not use this feature but I’ve seen the grid option with my DJI Air Units. At the end of the day, you’ll want to keep your subject centered as best as possible!
Such a cool video ! Only the FAA has the authority to regulate air space. Security can stop you from taking off and landing on their property but they can't tell you that you can't fly over it.
A permit is required to take off or land a drone in New York City. The NYPD reviews permit applications and issues them in partnership with the Department of Transportation. Applications must be submitted through the NYPD Online Services Portal at least 30 days in advance. The application requires proof of FAA licensure and a Commercial General Liability with UAS Coverage. There is also a non-refundable $150 fee. and FYI the FAA stated in their own video that LOCAL laws must be enforced FIRST and then NYC City cops can contact them later See the FAA video Drone safety it's the law and it tells them that .
Hi! Thank you very much for the video. I was wondering how do you maintain to reframe the object you’re shooting to the center? My composition ruins when i make the video vertical and shot it horizontally. Is the 9:16 aspect ratio on rs is the same as i was cropping it in post or the effect is different? Thanks.
4K @ 24fps Lock the shutter speed at 1/50 If you’re shooting during daylight you’ll need to use ND Filters to try and get exposure correct at ISO 100 or 200. Ideally keep the ISO as low as you can for best quality
Awesome bro. Quick question, Where would you place the mic during the rolling shots? Main issue I’m having is wind noise so u lose out on engine noise.
bruh am i trippin or what? I watched it all and don't see where yall got kicked out. I came here for the security but stayed for this amazing footage (i fly tiny whoops xdd)
I was not filming at the moment that we got kicked out, as it was in between batteries. The guards were chill so I wasn't going to bust out a camera and point at them like a Karen lol
For the setup I’m flying here, you can probably secure it for around $1,100 if you’re willing to buy used goggles. I can plan to make a video about my gear if that’s helpful
This is actually not Lightroom Classic, this is just called Lightroom. Adobe used to market it as the "Cloud" version but they've since added the ability to edit photos locally
May I ask, did you mix your voice with the audio from the camera on the drone? I came here in the hope of hearing the audio quality of the camera, unfortunately it seems to me people like you don't know why attach a gopro or an expensive camera on an fpv drone.
