Very helpful tutorial ty so much, just taking a few small tips from this and applying it to my existing beats gave them so much more energy and groove.
😢Listen up folks!!! Instead of cutting those low end frequencies on the kick drum, you should really be making the kick and sub frequencies NOT clash, but not in the way that this person showed. You want a punchy kick(respectively according to genre)so: 1) You can either use volume automation to drop the sub “volume” when the kick hits, 2) Delay the sub on the kick’s attack, or 3) Use Dynamic multiband sidechain compression that automates the amount of compression between the kick and sub…. or a little of all 3 techniques. Simply cutting frequencies that are important will sadly give you a lackluster and most importantly, a non-professional mix.❤ Live to learn and learn to live… the hard work really pays off.❤❤
Hello! I'm showing one example of how to make an 808 the protagonist on one song, not the kick. I said it at the beginning, each song requires different mixing approaches (unless you're copy-pasting one song) Not all songs need a punchy kick, and sidechain has been covered many times on other videos! Thanks for the input tho, I've been producing for 10 years and I know my mixes :)
@@Samplefocus Bc more people use splice so it has more samples, but you offer your service for free which is better. Also that response was def AI generated.
