Dude! Thank you!! I got this thing cheap at goodwill, and being the techno geek that I am, I had to check it all out. I ran into all kinds of issues, but got it running with the phone app, no problems. But... I wanted it to work with the remote and to be able to do that run around thing where it avoids bumping into stuff so that my cats could chase it around. I could not find the answers until I watched your video, I can't thank you enough for solving this headache!
Giving you a like for the algorithm. Helpful tip for sure. It should alternately be possible to insert code into the arduino c input that could activate the remote. This is definitely a bit more simple though. I’ve had my mbot for just over a year now and mostly use it for edge avoidance concept ideas for a larger bot I’m designing. The mbot is a great learning tool.
