If women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy! I love building things and learning. I've always wanted to learn to video edit, so I started this channel by filming the projects I was already doing. I consider myself a jack of all trades and am not afraid of any project, it's a chance to learn something new. Plus it keeps me out of trouble.
That’s pretty bad. Might be worth talking to the place you got it and just letting them know how awful those welds are. It sucks that you have to fix new stuff but I hope it goes well man
I did the online RME and it told me any search in my state or county is not available. So I did my local assessor and found information about my property, but no information about my septic system.
Need a bypass valve to allow the fluid to circulate after you kill the flow. The blade momentum is trying to force fluid into a closed valve. Bypass valve will solve your issue.
I think I'm going to opt for never using this attachment again instead with all its issues. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment, thanks 🙏
@@BrettsBuilds its not quite the best design as far as ease of attachment... if it were mine id simply devote one or two pieces to it for the year and leave it hooked up...i.e. a post hole digger in the summer and a snowblower for winter. The fact it brings the equipment closer to the machine would make it handy for those applications.
I also subbed. Always appreciate replies, and many times ill check thru the comments to see if they get replied to. Thanks for appreciating your viewers.
That is a good idea, I do have a couple old 3 point attachments that I could leave it attached to. I'd prefer to designated one and like you said, one I use rarely.
Sadly, after entering location information I was stopped dead by this: Public records searches, in the selected state or county, are not allowed at this time.
I was skeptical at first with the video, but the onlinerme worked like a charm. Great video, I wish I saw this before I made some exploratory holes in my yard. Thank you so much, amazing content!
Since that adapter uses a gear type motor it doesn't need a case drain, piston type hydraulic motors have to have a case drain because they leak some internally. A case drain isn't going to cure the problem of the pressure buildup when the motor stalls out. The 287C you have should have a standard flow of 22gpm, and a high flow of 33gpm, since you ran it on std flow that motor is too small which can cause over pressurization.
That's good information, is it the gears making all the noise upon shut down? Or the combination with pressure? Appreciate you watching and commenting 😁
I appreciate the advice but I think an even better idea is to just never deal with three-point attachments ever again! You definitely get spoiled with the skid steer quick connect. Thanks for watching
Why did you do all that work when you could have went to tractor supply and got a shorter half shaft! You are making this way more complicated than it needs to be!
Yeah that makes the most sense but on my end it was several parts: 1. I was finding out the issues as I went. At each juncture I wasn't sure I was going to finish. 2. I did go to tractor supply first but their shafts were $300 and I already knew I was going to hate the attachment so I didn't want to spend a bunch of money. 3. If I did decide to keep it, I wanted it to fit my machine and the 3 point is my dad's and fits his tractor. I was just borrowing it for the review. Appreciate you watching, thank you
Turn the lift pins on the cutter so they are on the inside not where they are now on outside. Slide both of lift connectors on the adapter to the center. They should be able to slide outwards on three lift pins on the cutter that you now gave pointed to the center.
@@mikel5140 yes, I did do that in the video, that was the part where I needed the big breaker bar. Little hard to see since it's cut off by the camera angle. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🙂
Hey Brett. Met you when I was picking a similar item up at Meridian. My NH w/cab the door comes off easy and there is a bypass for it. I tried hooking up to my wood chipper amd I need a 12" pto shaft which is a bit of a problem so far.
Yeah I remember, thanks for watching. I like having heat and A/C too much to remove my door but that's definitely an option. There are definitely downsides to only being one person with some of these attachments!
I purchased mine through a local equipment auction but I see them on eBay and locally on Facebook marketplace in the $1500 range. Prices may be different in other areas.
You need some carbide teeth and if youre trenching rock, take off the screw that throws dirt to the side (cant remember the name of it right now 😂). also a slow and steady speed helps but its also hard in rock. Just dont ever move fast. Oh, and you dont have to keep the arms all the way down to trench at all. Its just the ideal way in soft material to get that nice line of dirt on one side. Looks good though and hope it makes you lots of money. I spent some coin on mine and got a Digga. Been solid for 2 years so far.
@@jeffhall768 thanks for watching, appreciate the tips. I was happy with the results considering it was my first time using one but definitely learned along the way. Good luck with your Digga, I Hope to have more attachment reviews uploaded soon.
@@MrJohnnyblazed good luck! I bought a cheap camera on Amazon you can use to scope your line to see how far it goes. I then mark it and see how far it goes to tell you exactly where to dig if it's under concrete. IMO it'd be worth the $350 to make sure you're digging in the right spot, save a lot of time.
@@BrettsBuilds thanks! The name brands are $6500 and more. For my needs hard to justify. I think a lot of viewers will really appreciate and benefit from a regular long term updates.
Yeah I suppose so. All aspects are still moving towards completion together and more so it's what I have time to edit! 😁 Not a bad idea though to relabel the episodes as I go and complete more of them. Good idea 😉
@@user-wg1nq1ok3o it seized up after less than 15 minutes of use. I haven't taken it fully apart yet to see how bad it is. It's a very awkward disassembly.
