Traditional is still faster, and better if it's warm outside in terms of power banks. But having said that, I love my wireless charger on my night stand!
No fingerprints, but they start chipping away for most people after about 4-6 months. Some people that take really good care do have them for longer, but I usually replace them at this point.

I actually loved the finewovwn case. It’s actually a shame what the RU-vidrs did to doom It. Mine is black and it looks as good as the day I purchased, now there is no premium case. The case was vilifyed because it scratched when you intentionally scratched it, well, so does any other case. I hate that there was no fine woven available.
If you really try, then this Summit Stone color does if you hold it into the light correctly. But I don't think it would be very noticeable in everyday life.
The release of the beats cases really proves that apples whole campaign of being environmentally friendly and conscious is nothing but an absolute cash grab. Really annoys me that a company that has enough money to buy a country can’t innovate to make a case in 12 months. I purchased the silicone case early for the upcoming 16 pro max and I’m disappointed already as noticing a lot of lint collection in my pocket as of recent testing. If people start waking up to their marketing tactics this will force them to actually innovate and do something different.
I wouldn't say it's a cash grab. I think FineWoven was, but a lot of what Apple does is really environmentally friendly. Having said that, Silicone cases to break easily *and* collect a lot of lint - they always have. I'm pre-producing a few videos right now (best premium cases, best clear cases) so stay tuned for more options in the next two weeks.

I called Apple about that replacement you mentioned, and they said they only cover manufacturing defects, NOT accidental damages. Please be sure you are not spreading missinformation and people buy these cases believing they can replace it with their warranty.
Thank you. I can only echo what was told to me at the Apple Store here, here in Dubai, and I could not have been more clear with the Apple employee there. I showed him the marks on my previous Silicone case, as well as a broken bridge on the charging port cutout, and he said within 12 months I can always get a new case if I have a receipt. Your mileage may vary and I’d ask in a store in the country you live to double check.
I just tried this. So on the color seen in this video, the fingerprints are visible if I really try to leave one, and then hold it against the light. Otherwise I'd say no.

Not gonna lie this cutout on the bottom of the beats case is the only reason why I am not getting one. Back In the day when ip12 released I bought apple ip12 clear case(which also has this bottom cutout). I dropped my phone after month of using on staircase and it fell exactly on the cutout. The whole screen was shattered and aluminium was dented. Newer want to repeat that experience.
That's so interesting, I think you're the third person to say that. I have Apple Care+ personally so the daily use feeling better is more important to me personally. But I see how everyone that had your experience would hate the cutout going forward! And screen repairs cost a fortune :(
Hahah you're I think the second or third person to say this. It's funny because that's the exact reason that I *will* put this on my phone next week! I just received a case from Nomad, also plastic, which has a full cover. Will test and include into next week's video!
@@okladood-adam2564 Agree. Hate cases that don’t cover the bottom. I’m guessing Apple is trying to do something different by including beats as their discontinuation of leather upset a lot of people. And fine woven was a complete disaster. They clearly haven’t been able to do better so all we have is plastic from beats and silicone, which offers full coverage including the camera control but is a real lint magnet when in pocket. Hard to win lol
I literally bought this case BECAUSE of the cut out. I miss when the apple leather cases had the cut out. Less interference with swiping and gestures. I’ve never had the bottom of the phone get damaged. The case still wraps in around the corners.
I‘m really sad that there is no matching color for the desert titanium this year. They normally release a color matching case to every color but this year I don’t see one for the desert titanium.
I feel you, but stayed tuned for that as I will certainly make a few more videos, and at least you'll be able to see what many cases will look like with the Desert Titanium when I get it next week! I've bought and been sent to cases from Apple, Beats, Bellroy, Nomad, Caseology, Spigen, and more. Will do some comprehensive presentation of them in the same format as here. Hope it will help you make a choice!
I believe they do not advertise this for obvious reasons, but when you think about it, it makes sense. In my case (and I don't think this is Dubai-specific, where I live), he specifically said that I could get it replaced for any chips or breaks on the case. So I will definitely make use of that!
I have always gotten the Apple leather case, but since they don't have it this year, I was going to get the Dbrand Grip case, but they say its a pre-order that will ship when available and can't guarantee that it will arrive before the iPhone does, so that is worthless to me. I don't want to be using the phone without a case while waiting for a case to arrive so I guess Apple Silicone it is. I hate that open bottom on the Beats case.
Wow, that's so interesting that you don't like the bottom being exposed since that's mostly why I will be using it, hah! But this was the same on the leather cases, too! I'll make a couple more videos in the next week or two), talking: premium cases (will include leather ones) for one, and clear cases for another. every other cases on the market have a cut out which is a turn off for me :( I don't want to change case very month with the apple silicone....i wants that button cover.
A cutout for the bottom or the new camera button? I think there will be loads of cases available. Some with cutouts, some with covers. If you let me know exactly what you're looking for, maybe I can help.
@@TechWandererYT the capture button. I found only one from Sup case that have a cover over the new capture button but the back is clear. Since clear case will scratch and leave the case looks beat up. So far haven’t found one with a button cover for the capture. Waiting for my only case which is Caudabe for their unveiling case tmr as I order the new phone. Lets pray they have a cover for the button or I’m cook to go with the silicone case 🥲🥲
Caudable is actually sending some cases over, funny that you mention them! Meanwhile, all the Apple and Beats cases have a cover for the Camera Control button seen in the video. I'd recommend going for one of these when in doubt!
That's an excellent question that I will test with mine next week and then make a video about. I think the Clear Case is always a good option, the Beats case in the color I have in this video (Summit Stone) might also go very well. But traditionally, the rose gold options also went well with dark / black cases, so Beats case in "Midnight Black" or the Apple Silicone case in "Black" might also look very well. More next week!
@@TechWandererYT the problem with Apple clear case is that it’s got MagSafe white logo and I don’t use MagSafe Spigen was used for 14promax but it’s a heavy case Any other recommendation brand for clear case

I quickly researched this, and as you suggest, the “Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case” seems like a solid option that I will try for sure. It’s definitely made from some sort of plastic, and not the soft material you so often see. Another option would be the “Caseology Skyfall”, but this is a soft shell, not a hard shell. There are some other options, like Totallee, EvoClear, and Ringke to name a few, but I’ll make a video on it as soon as I can!
Not useful to you doesn't mean not useful. Do you use ProRes Apple Log recording from last year? Do you use Action Mode? Do you use the dynamic island? Because I do, and these are all features included in recent iPhone's.
@@knowthetruth9804 I generally agree, but I think there are people for which it makes sense. Especially filmmakers/creators like me, but just people having older phones.

I think it protect it about the same as the Silicone cases do, but I’m sure some crazy creator will do the drop test 🤣 I’m going to try the Beats case first, and then see how it feels after a few days/weeks. Thanks for watching!
I’m almost certain the reason why Apple branded it Beats was because they wanted to create a replacement for FineWoven since it was so hated and they could not come up with anything in time. This very clearly plastic case was the best their team could come up with, but plastic is not environmentally friendly and would be embarassing so they co-opted it with their Beats brand instead
I have nothing to add to that really! This case is clearly made by Apple but as you say, they do not want to associate with plastic. I honestly wonder why they don’t go with some vegan leather option. Maybe this isn’t environmentally friendly either because it feels like such a no brainer option.
@@TechWandererYT I wish they would just bring back the leather case. Brand it as "Beats" if they want. Not having the leather case is worse for the environment, because the cows will exist and be killed for food, whether Apple utilizes the leather for cases or not...
@@TechWandererYTI’m guessing they just couldn’t get a vegan leather supplier in time. They had a year to do it after the hate but to do it at Apple scale and quality, probably just not enough time to do it. Maybe watch out for a vegan leather for iPhone 17 or 18
