I feel so sad for Conrad. He has tried for years to meet the expectations of those around him. And he has very high standards for himself also. And this being the year he started to realise about his mam’s cancer and reason behind the divorce, I think he just broke. He started shutting down and tried to control what he could - stopping football, smoking, drinking. I think this both soothed him and disappointed him. Belly is the only one that can save him from his despair. The only one that got him, even more than his mum. But he was afraid to mess with his relationship with Belly as he might loose her too. And what then. He’d be even more alone than he is now. So much complexity in his story. Fundamentally though, he wanted what was best for everyone, for Belly, he just had a hard time showing it 💔🥰
IN my opinion, JJ and Kiara are the best couple in OBX. When JJ came to Kie's rescue when the guy was going to hit her with the machete, that was love. When Kie gave JJ a shoulder to cry in in the hot tub, that was love. Pope and Kie just never loved each other like JJ and Kie do. *but I do like Cleo and Pope*
They never loved each other that way at all she never even said I love you to her lol they only together because Kiara felt bad and thought she hurt his feelings by saying it's not going to work because he kept starting to be mean to her after dude was crying because he got rejected it was definitely forced and one sided
Listen, in season 1 when kie rejects pope she says that she wants to travel and stuff, right? Well in season 2 when kie and jj are in the crate jj says that he’s gonna travel and ride the waves. Do u get what I’m sayin? JJ wants to travel kie wants to travel, plus they have loads of chemistry. And if u think abt it JJ is the only one who hasn’t kissed kie. He’s super protective over her, for example, when rafe says kie is super hot for a pouge, JJ gets super defensive. Even when pope said kei wasn’t coming, JJ looked right a John B and immediately says what did u do to her, that’s being protective. When kie kissed pope in the car when JJ was “ asleep “ U could see that JJ was upset. JJ gets upset when Kie is kissing other people. The way JJ looks at kie, the things he says to her, and the way he is super protective over her shows that he wants a chance. Hopefully in season 3 we see Jiara happen.
Exactly. Plus it's supposed to be about teenagers. What teenager doesn't get confused and make mistakes when figuring out what they want from life. I know it's fiction before the roasts start but it's supposed to be about real emotions and people lol
