It accelerates pretty well up till 112 mph (180km/h) then it just hits a wall. 227 bhp and tall gearing is probably to blame. Having said that, I don't understand why the gearing would be so tall considering it's got a 9 speed auto. Shorter ratios and another 50 bhp would have done wonders for this car. 0-60mph would have been a second quicker. 0-100mph would likely be 3 seconds quicker and 0-124mph could have been 9 or so seconds quicker.
This channel is about real world performance of different cars. We don't do cars in optimal conditions or on optimal roads. We like to give the viewer a realistic impression of how good cars actually are and how they are being taken of.
Popular, but the combi model with automatic gearbox is the slowest version, slow gearbox, higher weight and higher drag, compared to the 4-d sedan which has the lowest weight and lower drag and the 5-d combi coupe which is heavier than the 4-d sedan version but has the lowest air resistance Cw 0.25. The difference is a maximum of 8 km/h in top speed and 1.2 seconds in acceleration with manual gearbox in the 4-d sedan version with lowest weight. Which also... has a significantly lower noise level...
Opc ist das nicht...zieht für 325PS echt keinem ernsthaften Gegner über 300PS davon...Automatik, Übersetzung, Gewicht u wenn es kein UL ist, dann sowieso nicht...echt traurig 😢
