both ladies heads turned beat red in each others leg scissors? cmon now these ladies were putting it ON each other. gotta be the best womens match ive ever seen and modern lady wrestlers ALL need to WATCH THIS to see what their job SHOULD look like
the ladies somehow brought a certain elegance to the madness. The camera work plays a role in it, the lighting. Im guessing that both ladies were gymnasts or something along those lines yet they stick to aWRESTLING….BELIEVABLE😂, wrestling that is LOGICAL and MAKES SENSE every step of the way as they go.
Thanks for this! Easily the most underwhelming 80's NJPW Elimination match, but still a nice curiosity. I didn't even realize Maeda had been eliminated.
Me neither! Apparently Sakaguchi did it somehow. Inoki and Maeda were off due selling the toil of the Island Death Match. I have absolutely no idea why Takada was with NOW instead of NEW but if anyone has any idea, I'd love to hear it. He seemed to switch back and forth in the weeks prior.
@@mattd2a Yeah, Sakaguchi threw (rolled??!) him outside and that counted, as these Elimination matches also count ring-outs as eliminations, even if you go under the lower rope. Sakaguchi himself was eliminated by count-out later on, when everyone else dogpilled on him, and the camera couldn't catch it. Takano and Mutoh being with the Now Leaders isn't surprising, but Takada being there was a surprise.
20:30 "C'est Mon premier fois" Yup, just like Cathy Lee Crosby at WM2. Glamorous celebrity guest commentator admits on air to never having attended a live show before.
