There was heavy sargassum a few days when we were there & they worked hard to clean it up. The good news is RPP has 2 beaches plus full access to Caribe's beach, so you can pick the cleanest beach each day. Yes, the adult only areas are very closely monitored & if they don't have the wrist band that gives you access to those areas, they will ask the people to leave or call security. It happened many times at the villa pool area. It's a nice perk
No, there are no elevators in the adults only villas, only stairs. There are only 3 floors, so I guess that's why. Yes, the beach bar is literally right next to the exclusive pool and there is a very attentive waiter that comes around all day long to take your drink orders. The beach is steps away too and the beach waiters also come around all day long.
I'm so sorry, Brittanie.. I did not get any video of your ceremony, but I wish I did. Your wedding was beautiful & everyone seemed very happy for you & your husband. I remember seeing your group all over the resort that week. The thumbnail of the video is the only picture I got. You were a gorgeous bride!
@@aurorarene9909 In my opinion it is better unless they try to give you floor 3 or floor 13. Both of those have a large concrete wall that blocks your view when you sit down. They gave us floor 13 originally and I made them switch us. I like to sit outside, so a concrete wall in paradise doesn't do it for me. I've heard that mostly all rooms have great views though... this room is just bigger than all the rest and has the biggest patio
Yes, there are rooms above that can see you in your pool, but they can't see you when you are under the awning on your patio deck. There was only one time we heard someone above us & they smoked a cigarette & went back in.
That tub really comes in handy after a long day out on the strip. If you're getting a tower suite with a tub like this, I'd suggest packing a bath bomb or a small bubblebath. But if not... the small bottle of shampoo makes great bubbles too! Hape you have a blast!
Yes, that's correct. Privileged area is to the left & the blue chairs are common area. Honestly, there's no policing of the areas besides the ETC (Exclusive Travel Club) area, so anyone can sit anywhere besides ETC.
@@noshxhson No, it's not hard to get chairs to sit in, BUT they don't have any beach umbrellas & the chairs with shade are always snatched up by chair savers that come to the beach at the crack of dawn to place a towel & other personal items on a chair under the palm trees (the only source of shade on this beach) to "reserve" it & then don't come back for hours while others bake in the sun with all the best chairs unoccupied. This is a problem at the beach & the pools. The resort will say that it's not allowed, but they don't do anything to stop it. We got burnt day 1 because we couldn't get any shade on the beach. We spent a lot of time in our private pool during this vacation, but we loved it. Other than that, my only other complaint is the people trying to get you to sign up for their ETC club are aggressive & annoying tricksters & they are always waiting for you to come out of an eating place to pounce. Other than these issues, we loved it & would go back again & again. They recently rebranded their name to Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres which also came with post covid rate increases, so we're looking for another place to visit next time. PLUS it's a crazy long drive from the airport through non-resort areas to get there. Good thing we booked a private transfer that made the long ride no problem
@@mjuergens808 Appreciate your response! Can you tell me more about the private transfer to go from the airport to the location? Did you have non alcoholic drinks when you were there? Like mocktails (pina colada but no alcohol?) Idk if they serve those and if its included in the non inclusive or not. I've contacted the property but no response from them yet and I'm planning on going there for the first time from Canada next month ... Want to get as much information as possible before going, so I appreciate your time responding :)
@@noshxhson No problem. I like having all the info ahead of time myself. We used Holiday Taxi for our round trip transfer. We booked in advance and paid $85 round trip not including tip. They emailed us to let us know how to locate their employees the week prior to our trip date. They were easy to find & once they confirmed we were on the list, they quickly moved us to our private air conditioned van & got us on our way. The trip was almost an hour through busy rush hour style traffic. On our return trip back to the airport it was raining & the road into the resort area was flooding and the traffic was backed up for miles. Luckily our driver arrived very early and we avoided the traffic jam on the way out. They really need to update that road asap. It's full of potholes and barely 2 lanes and clearly floods every time it rains... If our driver wasn't early, he would have gotten stuck in that mess & we would have been late for our flight. Regarding the drinks.. we had the privileged package, but I am sure that since the resort is all inclusive, you still get drinks, even if you don't want the alcohol. We heard the alcohol is watered down, so we bought some at the duty free & we're glad we did. Top shelf liquor is reserved for ETC guests & everyone else gets the watered down variety. I'm sure if you ask for a virgin pina colada or miami vice, etc... they will oblige. Just make sure to tip... even $1 goes a long way with the bartenders. We took our own insulated cups & asked them to fill them, which was almost 2 of their cups of mixed drinks & with a tip for each drink, they filled them to the brim with a smile every time. I think that answered your questions 🙂
Congratulations on a great video! 🤨 I know where you can get more than 154 free spins.Best choice. Thanks for the content. Great video! Its fun to watch. Good job.
It's called the Privileged Romance Suite. This is room 4008. All of the Romance Suites face the Majestic Resort next door & they sell out fast because there aren't very many of them.
I think you can request one & they won't charge you if you say it's for medications. We brought a collapsing cooler & filled it with ice to keep our drinks cold.
You get a complimentary 30 minute couples massage & free access to the wet areas of the spa & that includes the hydro therapy pool & hot/ cold treatment pools. We didn't do it though
@@jois6939 I'm actually not 100% certain on that. I would think that you would have to make an appointment so it's not crowded in the spa areas, which would make it not so relaxing.
