This valve depend of your model type sometimes is hard for closed after inflating the item how beach ball.The black plug no enter easy in base of valve and air leak slowly leaving the ball with wrinkles and isn’t good my guess.So leave the wish this problem and can think in this I found for a best solution in question.The security is important for me and no cause injuries more later.

@@PandPImports Appreciate it! Just assembled it today and did some pitching. It seems sturdy, can handle 75-80 mph fastballs no problem. Pitching I don't expect any issues at all, just kind of worried about batting, which has much higher velocities, but those worries aren't due to your product or anything.
