I do not have the kind of money to own a Patek, but love high horology and am fascinated with the brand. I wish this place charged admission so I could go in there and just look without feeling out-of-place. NYC needs a watch museum for lovers of horology and fine timepieces, just for the love and the knowledge.
The watches are masterpieces. Unfortunately, I bet they spend their time in safes, only to emerge on special occasions and eventually to go to auction. Not only are the purchasers rich, but they are well connected and personally known to FP Journe.
