Patrick was raised in the upper reaches of New York State near the Canadian Border. He began roaming the swamps & forests of the St. Lawrence River valley at the age of 13. His passion was learning everything about the outdoors and the creatures that lived there. At the age of 15 his family became members of a hunting club between Tupper Lake, Long Lake and Saranac Lake N.Y. Here he learned the Adirondack Moutain region and all the inhabitants as a trapper and hunter. After graduating from the New York State Ranger School the Adirondacks he pursued his passion of working in the woods into the Green Mountains as a forester, where he has lived in the log cabin he built with his wife in 1986 ever since. His guiding service led him to starting this You Tube channel to teach those who lived far away or could not follow him into the woods & rivers to learn all the knowledge he has gathered making a living in the outdoors for the past 50 years as forester, guide, hunter and trapper.
