What a great Mom you are.Multi tasking helps give you bits of time during the day to interact with your children. Your children will grow up remembering that no matter how busy Mom was, she made time for us.
Even staying at home will cost you money, right? I mean, it's "free" because of the event, but people still have to pay for gas and other things, so "free" only applies to the event. But I get your point, and I hope they open more places close to people. Also, it's not just about screens; it's about limiting screen time for kids even if they stay home 24/7, doing other things besides playing and watching on their phones, you know?
Yes you are correct. My kids do have a very limited amount of screen time and play outside a ton. Just trying to see if being out of the house saves us any money on our electric bill. If we lived closer and could walk then it probably would have. 😊
I only use the dryer in the winter months. For us line drying that is march to middle of October. Here are some tips: Always dry your inside out. Closing all of you buttons and zips. This will prevent fading. if you need heavy duty clothes pins for blankets. Places like Lehmans or other Amish store have them.
We have both dryer and full size out door clothesline. The natural way with the sun and the winds blowing is my personal favorite for drying clothing and miscellaneous items.
Great idea for people with allergies and all the pollen, etc... that gets on outdoor hung clothes and linens. LOL ! also great idea for apartment folks and elderly. LOL
So you walk around your now dark house, injure yourself and that costs as much as having the lights on for the next 40 years. Smart. Not. Also you now can't brush your teeth with your electric toothbrush, so you have dental costs as well that you otherwise wouldn't have.
BUT driving slow will irritate other drivers, and will probably at some point eventually cause a wreck, because everyone else is going the speed limit as a minimum, assuming clear weather. that aside, if you really want fuel savings consider a vehicle that isn't an early 2000s chevy suburban with a large displacement v8 motor. consider a honda civic, maybe a toyota Prius, some kind of lighter vehicle with a smaller, maybe turbo charged motor will typically save you about 60 dollars at the pump getting you just as far with half the gas.
I do the same thing. I shop food lion, Aldi's and Harris teeter (ad items or marked down meat;at FL/HT). Never ever do I buy meats at Walmart!!! Rarely go in wolly...
