I'm happy to see that, the Ex LK55 metroline E400 Tridents are still alive. These buses better not die as, one faithful day I really want to preserve one of these buses as I love the kickdown of these buses. I travelled to school a lot on this bus. What does it mean when the bus makes a ticking noise? I love the fact this Trident despite being nearly 20 years old, can still sing in 3rd gear when using kickdown 😍
as far as I'm aware, redrose and Redline are the one of few keepers of the first lk55 e400 trident batch with about 5 in their fleet altogether and LK06 FLB n LK08 NVL
The ticking sound is when the engine its self is very hot... now unfortunetly for this current bus LK55 KKD suffers from overheating, but again i'd hope to see one myself be preserved
@Transport-Coolfunr is there a way to cool down the bus without having to overheat? I enjoy these buses as it has a unique Euro3 engine. The moment one of these buses are preserved, I'm gonna be a very happy man
@@Transportman211 KKD is a very unique powerful engine very powerful as a result it overheats, the fans are on etc but i have no clue probs a re engine or fix the coolant system .
Hate the rattling, but i love 6 speed euro 5s. Like if they aren't, i just can't really compare them to other E200s because of that lovely diff at full speed
@Transport-Coolfunr it is very strange cause euro 5s with 5 speeds sou d awful in my opinion but 6 speeds are lovely, and any euro 4/6 e200s tend to be nice too. If ur gonna do some research, u may wanna look at my vid of YX61 GBF on thr W2 because that'd a euro 5 and had a completely different diff which is the same for YX11 AEC/Y22 RRT and YX61 GBE. The diff is similar to an older dart and is by far my favourite
@@Transport-Coolfunryes i guessed it was E2 i know the rattle, E3 RRT is better less rattly but the diff sounds a lot like this but this can do 62 mph amd E3 can do 65
I am by no means at all surprised thisbis now in limp mode. I remember when it was rapid but all that work on fast routes Kills buses like these as I'm sure you know, great video despite the heap in question
@reecealdred515 they do don't they, some people say oooh why do u like them. Now don't get me wrong they aren't my favourite but I have always liked them because of how much more powerful they are lol

@@shiresbusveg nah... reasons why 50508 AND 50507 hover is because its Cooling fan cable was unplugged enabling it to hoover continuously. Due to its taps running at full gush, the engine will tend to over heat with out the fans Now thats not to say b7s aren't notorious with Hoovering and will turn on automatically if the engine runs hot. But the Vykings at Rrt arent bad.

Well BGK is still amazing, very nice video of these great kickdowns. I see BGK has also developed a louder diff which is quite cool, adds character to the bus
Can u hear that turbo.... its not taking oil its burning despite oil been put in that day.. it was thought to keep local but a driver took it out on a fast route as a result the engine died.
@@Transport-Coolfunrturbo was new the engine had low oil pressure each time you stopped. So it then lost all oil pressure and that’s why it blew up the other week and completely smashed the engine block.
You can say that however this bus was allocated to 2 town - town routes which require fast speeds..... this bus didn't cut for it. Its quite smooth tho cant lie Now the x20 and 130 allocations are EVORAS
Nope... its a 5 speed and it gets stuck in the 4th. Red rose keeps putting it on routes like 17, 100 etc whilst redline had it on the slow 110 and schools... bus will probs blow up if its not kept local... Absolutley ragged tho ahaha
