As a someone in medical research of herbs I have wanted to learn Arabic, particularly literary Arabic reading, for some time. The learning materials have increased dramatically but as near as I can tell, 99% of them are for other purposes, designed to lure the learner into dodgy "courses" and programs, or utterly worthless. I ended up using some old books from over 120 years ago written by British military people, yes, colonialists, who wrote introductions to the grammar and reading for others of their class, traders, and diplomats. This video is quite useful though I see no reason for the narrator to speak English at 3X normal speed (is this how Arabic is spoken) but the narrator has provided a transcript and useful pdf notes for which we must give thanks. Arabic always was an important language but even more so, now, yet the path to get into it remains impossibly difficult.
The problem is Palestine belongs there but has been oppressed for decades by Israel. No one opposed Jewish people trying to survive. In fact, it was Muslim who protected & allowed Jews to live in holy city. Now Israel oppressed the Palestinians with the help of the US.
