The reason you don't see most popular youtubers replicating that early 2010s style of video is because it doesn't work anymore. The majority of people aren't going to be interested in normal minecraft gameplay, especially when you have big names doing challenges, collaborations, events, etc. I'm not saying that nobody likes that kind of content, it's just not the kind that will get views, which at the end of the day is the objective of most content creators. Even the people who do slower content that is reminiscent of old minecraft content usually have another aspect that make them stand out. flowstate is a great example of this, his videos are mostly vanilla+ modded survival, building, or just basic commentary. Despite this, he's grown a subscriber count of a quarter million in less than two years, which can be attributed to his cinematic video style with very calm, relaxing vibes to it. A lot of his most popular videos are literally just him giving advice and talking about philosophy over minecraft footage. There are tons of good ones out there that stand above the rest, for one reason or another. Over time, people are going to gravitate towards their style of content, and we might see less of the soulless copy/paste videos from unintuitive creators that lack even a sliver of ingenuity.
Honestly, hate him or not but hes speaking facts. Monster School content is most of the Gen Z and early Gen Alpha but now it's just botted content. Half my childhood just *GONE* because of the new content. Even though it's true the fact RU-vidrs these days are making money out of this but make original content. And also some other notes: Even though this RU-vidr is on 145-ish subscribers, the content and editing is perfect. Also I can't Imagine on how bad the RU-vid content is gonna be in a few years. (And I indeed did subscribe)
@@TheBigSmqch18 Agree. If It's not for the Money, RU-vid doesn't care. Only Money. Kid's safety? No, Money. Good content? NO, MONEY. THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY. BUT WHY???? I Wish RU-vid could promote the good stuff...
Yes, this is a rare case where I have to edit a lot, and this is a different video compared to what I usually do. Anyway, let me know what you agree or disagree with. Anyway, Here is TheMisterEpic’s video about monster school, go sub to him pls: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pAVDzT3pzoU.htmlsi=LMY6OOWS1x-GqzKL
Ai mate, watched this through, your commentary is hella funny. It's like your mic has personality and it's refreshing to watch an actual minecraft playthorugh without the 929334 jump cuts and attention grabbing stunts. Here waiting for the next episode
So basically, take this channel as an inspiration from Niko, except that I will be doing Minecraft 1.8 lets plays instead of life advice. For geometry dash videos, I may have to create a separate channel. I hope that my idea can be successful in the future🤞
