They better not end the game on the cliff hanger of little mutant Timmy getting lost on an island and then all comms being lost on that island. At least give us a dlc of playing as Timmy or even jianyu.
Pro Tip: When you're not going to leave your shelter for a while, build a small box out of logs, and throw two logs into the box, pick them up, and do it again repetitively, it's a really fast and efficient way to gain strength, and doing it on a daily basis (in game time) can get you a LOT of strength, making you an absolute god if you do it enough, also another detail you should know, if you have high sentiment with virginia, and can give her items, give her your guns, she can use them even if they don't have ammo
Just a tip. Push as close to the plate as much as it feels like you're through the gate (there's an opening in the frame of the gate) and then push WW sprint at that very moment.
Three things 1) Does it only work with wooden plates, or can any random item work, like a soul gem? 2) I've seen on gamefaqs that the gate still won't open afterward, and you'll need to fast travel to get out. Is that true? I'm playing on survival mode, so I can't fast travel. I would prefer not to get out of survival mode as it feels like cheating, but if I must I will. 3) how is it that the unofficial patch mod hasn't fixed this yet?
