“Manual stop” makes no sense when the mower stops by itself without intervention. Sometimes the mower is stuck, sometimes it loses signal. Sometimes it gets stuck on a tree “Manual stop” doesn’t give me any information
What exactly is overlap? It seems like it’s the amount of distance. The mower is allowed to go beyond its zone boundary? There really needs to be some documentation (even a simple indie button) in the app that explains it. I’m having an issue where an area with high overlap next to a no go zone causes the mower to report out of boundary.
Overlap, as explained when I bought mine, was how much of the previous cut the mower did on the next cut. So minimum Overlap means that the two cuts are adjacent, maximum overlap means that half of the previous cut is cut again, so it is more for when the grass is long.
@@mrteroo8953 It's quite simple, cutting the grass following a stripe scheme instead of a random mode. Every strip erase the previous wheel step. Do you know lawnmowers without wheels? Maybe Flying lawnmowers? Let me know
You are as thick as mince aren't you? The type of lawnmower that leaves stripes like the ones in your promotional video are lawnmoweres with a roller at the back, NOT WHEELS! You are trying to con people into thinking that your pissy little mower with wheels at the back will leave those defined stripes. It will not.
Is it possible to not cut stripes? cutting the same direction every time gets problem later in the season. I would love to both be able to cut stripes and also random pattern
Positions where the Mission get stuck should be able to add as a no-go zone within the defined area. The robot knows where it is, could be add a 1m2 circle around the stuck position.
Hi, this wouldn't be a good idea. If we create no-go zones every time the robot crashes, we end up no longer cutting. The problem is that it can block for many reasons, and most of these are temporary (grass that is too tall, digging holes, a particular obstacle)
@@kressinternational3053 I see this from the other perspective, as owner/user of the robot and app. I do not say it should create no-go zones. I say it should give me an option in the app to att a no-go zone within my cutting area due to problems I not have an option to take care of right now. Like "Your Mission has got stuck on this position, do you want an exclusion added?" The hole the Robot get stuck in might be there longer than just today. It might be there for weeks, as we need to purchase the stick or ask the reseller to come and map this exclusion is even more troublesome. If you like we can have a live teams call where I describe how this could be solved, if so just tell me how I can send the invite. I can accept that mapping new areas might need the pilot cart, but adding exclusions/no go zones, should be possible in the app. I can split the area down to smaller units, and then merge the others, and then remove the schedule for this left out area. But that is a workaround that is much more troublesome. Split area one into 1 and 2, split 2 into 2 and 3, split 3 into 3 and 4, merge 1, 2 and 4, ending up with area 1 containing area 2, and skip schedule for area 2. A month later when problem is solved merge area 1 and 2 to the original area. So, to describe it simple. "The mission got stuck and turned off at this spot, do you want to create a no-go zone? Yes or No"
You need to make some provision for users to do this by allowing users to drive the robot to define a no go zone. I had a few trees cut in my property. My dealer can’t just schedule me the same day or even the same week to come out and map. I’m forced to use the split feature to create a “no go” zone. It’s basically a zone that I never schedule while I wait to get on my dealers schedule.
@@kressinternational3053 On the subject, you should make it so the map can be edited on the PC website, rather than tryin to do everything on a phone screen. A PC with mouse and zoom would be way easier. And yes, the ability to modify, add and delete no-go zones seems pretty obvious. People change things in gardens - a new tree, raised beds, new garden furniture. I can't be calling my dealer out from one hour away to plot a new map every time we change something in the garden.
Since Kress mower cuts in parallel, overlap refers to the width of the overlap between the first and second cutting paths/lanes. If the mower cuts a width of 20cm and overlaps 5cm, then first cutting lane width is 20cm, while the second cutting lane width is actually cut 15cm(of which 5cm has been cut by the first cutting path)
@@wesselbraks109 Depends on how your lawn look like. The mower will have more possibilities to not always go very straight when under shadow area or on not flat ground etc… If your lawn with more trees, high walls, not flat ground or high slopes, then you’d better to keep overlap to Max, so that mower will not miss cut some area. While if the mower are working in a standard football pitch, then you can decrease the overlap of course.

Wow, I stumbled upon your video titled "kress mower" and I must say, it caught my attention! As someone who's been tirelessly searching for a lawnmower without perimeter wires, I was thrilled to discover the Segway Navimow robotic lawnmower. Its convenience and efficiency make it stand out among other brands. I highly recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Could you help me to understand what might be wrong with my Kress KR122E, after few minutes of mowing it start looking for boundary wire and come back to the base, even if battery is full, any thoughts?
Hi tomp, I think there could be two problems: 1 / the battery is "dead". Sometimes, in this case, the charge lasts for a short time and when it is recharging it recharges immediately, as if it were already almost full Try with another battery. 2/ working hours or other scheduling parameters are set incorrectly
@@kressinternational3053 thanks for the answer. It's one week old mower so battery is fine. Working hours scheduled automatically and correctly, I checked with manual schedule too with different setting. What about WiFi signal, does the mower need to have connection to to the WiFi or the base only? Area to mow is 1500m2. Thanks
@@tomp.94 Even if the mower is new it could be that the battery is faulty. If the working hours are set correctly, I suggest you to contact the dealer. WIFI must be connected to the robot, not the base. All the settings operated with WIFI active then work with WIFI switched off too
@@kressinternational3053 I think I know where the problem is, just need the solution now :) It looks like the mower is in demo mode, working for exactly 5 minutes, then back to base and leave straight away for next 5 minutes run and so on... Showing demo mode when back to base on the screen. As it was a present on my 40th birthday I can't contact the dealer as the friends got it online somewhere. Is there any chance you could let me know how to switch off the demo mode and start to enjoy it? Thank you in advance.
Hi Harry, some 'demo days' have taken and will take places in Germany, Frace, Italy and also, I think but not sure, in the UK. Please visit kress.com and tap on 'find a dealer' www.kress.com/en-gb/8-minute-cybersystem/ I think you can try the tool at the dealers or ask them about scheduled or not future 'demo days'
