With a blue-collar background, Bryan Martin lives the stories he writes. Those real-life emotions & experiences expressed in song resonate with audiences because the two are one & the same.
From the oil fields where he was a “roughneck” on the rigs, to pursuing his hobby of writing songs & learning to play guitar, this self-taught musician is quickly becoming recognized as one of country music’s emerging new talents.
Music was part of Bryan’s upbringing from an early age. His mother, who sang recognized his talent at age 6. By the time he was 8, Bryan started singing at local festivals. As a teenager in high school, he stepped away from music to focus on working after school. He’d write songs on the side “for fun.”
Martin hopes to be the greatest that he can be with the talent that he’s been given and strives to work harder than the next guy. He lives by the best advice he ever received - “Don’t let your head outrun your feet… follow your heart and stay true to your roots.”
I’m sitting here in tears. This song really hurts, but it speaks like everything that I feel I can’t believe it took me a year to find it. It’s so hard to ask for help. I’m a strong. Ass woman that’s what I wanna believe but I’m not I’m not.
My youngest son is fortunate to be able to be home every single day/night with his baby girls and wife!! Been working in the fields for 15 years!! #oilfieldfamily
I’ve been able to call out songs that will hit # 1 on the charts for as long as I can remember and with a high rate of accuracy. I don’t know where this one stands on the top 40 right now but knew the first time I heard it that it will be a # 1 hit. Keep up the awesome work Bryan. You are a force to be reckoned with dude !
Just seen you are doing a show in my home town of Red Deer Alberta in September ! I sent you a message back in 2019 when you were still pulling slips asking when you were coming to do a show up here and it’s finally happening !
