I have an upcoming flight in June from PHX-SFO-HND. I always wonder what the meals will be like for the leg from SFO-HND. probably chicken and rice... that sandwich didn't look to appealing.

My grandson is a 14 year Army Infantry Veteran. Iraq, Afghanistan. He's now some kind of an instructor at Ft. Benning and has been assigned as a Drill Instructor. I'm so proud of you, Michael.
I live two counties north of Indianapolis here in Indiana. The supercell that spawned this severe weather passed just to my south and was already rotating here in Indiana. Surprised it did not drop a tornado before it did.
I was there to watch my son graduate in 1998. It was on a football sized field near their Quad Infantry training barracks. We were in the stands and unknown by us, they where like ghosts hidden about sixty yards across from us. They charged out with a few Bradley’s and all the graduates with guns a blazing. Quite impressive. My son retired with twenty-four years service. PS We stayed in LaGrange, and loved it.

It is disgraceful that a beret is part of the standard uniform. You use to have to EARN the right to wear a beret. We graduated in class A's, if you wanted dress blues you had to buy them.
