I’ve tried advertising on FB market place and it always gets taken down cause it “violates” community guidelines. All I’ve posted is my name and number. How did you get your posts to stick?
@AMothersNature
@AMothersNature Месяц назад
Honestly, back when I was building my business fb marketplace was not yet a thing. I always just posted ads in my local “for sale groups”. Or any local pages that allowed posts of that sort. So perhaps trying there for your own community will give you better results!

Also I think it’s probably the phone number causing you issues on marketplace. Try posting with an email contact instead?

thats way too much prepping for a festival. Why do americans always go so bulky? was hoping for something chill not bringing with you half the home in a huge car.
@AMothersNature
@AMothersNature 2 месяца назад
I certainly can’t speak for ALL Americans, lol, but personally We like to be safe, comfortable and prepared. I feel more relaxed and have more fun when I pack this way. We are usually at a festival for around 5 days and that’s long enough for me to feel justified in the amount of effort I put into packing. Most of it we absolutely make use of, and other things are “I hope we don’t need this but want to have it just in case”. I also don’t like bothering other people for things that I should have brought myself- which is honestly all too common amongst folks who have a really lax attitude when it comes to packing. Obviously you are free to do what you want, and I’m not really sure why you felt the need to comment here- if you think it’s too much, don’t follow the advice. Commenting what you did really only serves the purpose of being rude and judgmental- maybe save your energy for more productive and positive interactions?

Given that my name is Angel, wearing the flower halo is a given, but after my first Electric rainForest: be wary of wearing these battery-operated halos in the rain, as they will short out, and can potentially ZAP your scalp!!!! 😭😭😭 kinda feels interesting, but probly not so healthy... i just reminisce upon Jack Nicholson in Anger Management with his hair follicle zapper... maybe it stimulates hair growth? anyway, it leaves you itchy for a month wherever you got zapped!

I love what you do and I'm also a massage therapist but I think the best cleansing for a space is prayer to Jesus Christ who died to save us from our sins. Without Jesus everything else is false Gods and empty practises. Please don't get me wrong I use essential oils and candles as well but I don't do any rituals with them because they don't work for any kind of spiritual healing they look pretty and they smell nice that's about it. The only healer is Jesus so my massage therapy is Christian based
@AMothersNature

I appreciate your perspective! Im glad you have found a spiritual path that truly fulfills you! I do read the Bible and believe Jesus was a very wise and kind hearted man who was divinely connected- but I am not a Christian. I believe in a much older and more ancient truth, a pulse that runs beneath the surface of it all and connects each and everything in existence. I am grateful that we all are free to know our own truth. Many blessings to you! ❤️

I’ve been lucky that has never happened. But I also have a husband who works and his income would cover my rent if need be. Last summer I actually had a spinal injury and was out of work for several months and his job was the only way we were able to get by. Lots of sacrifices but we survived!

We don’t leave it outside or even throw it away, I collect it back up and shove it in my camel bak. I actually reused it as a part of my winter village decorations later that year lol. And then reused it again to make a giant spider web decoration at home the following Halloween. It’s still in a box in my shed! But aside from that it’s a really fun way to connect with others in the crowd and make great memories 😊

@AMothersNature

It’s gone up over the years and honestly varies from client to client depending on the service I’m offering and their particular needs. Usually around $65 an hour which is still on the lower end for my area- but many of my clients are retired and living on SSI so I try to be affordable!

That road was washed out in a flood shortly after your visit. It just reopened this year, but the damage is still visible with one of the guard rails over one of the upper bridges grotesquely twisted and bent. But, its good to see the FS has reopened it. Even if most of the signs are still missing.

I'm happy I found your page. I finish my massage class in july and I sadly hear lots of discouragement. Nice to see someone who is a professional and successful. I have a spot in mind to rent, only issue that it's not very fancy, downstairs from a hairdressing business, small office with no window. I know I can fix it up nice, I'm just worried that the location won't feel attractive enough compared to other massage rherapy offices. It's the only affordable spot I found in my area.
@AMothersNature

I absolutely think you can make the space work for you! As long as it is clean and cozy feeling, has convenient access to a bathroom and feels safe you are good to go! The energy that you bring to the experience is what keeps people coming back. I honestly think you are better off saving money and using a space that you can afford rather than trying to find something more aesthetically pleasing and getting yourself in a financial hole. You want to keep overhead as low as possible and focus on your craft! Wishing you all the best!
@sandrae.7352

@AMothersNature you are so kind for replying to me. The building is abit old, leading down the stairs I see it would need a fresh coat of paint and there is nothing but an area rug outside of the small rooms to rent, so I could perhaps add a couple of chairs there and abit of deco. I worry about not having a window as well. And you are right as the other spaces I saw for rent are literally 1 thousand dollars more per month, that would make no sense, I would just be working to pay the rent. Another downfall is that there are 3 massage places on that street that are nice, 2 of them are spas and expensive. A friend told me it would be too much competition, wondering what you think. My massage teacher told me that there are many hair dressers too but each of them still find their clienrs so we can't let the competition discourage us. If they enjoy the service and the massage is good in a safe amd comfy spot, they will probably come back. Yes it has access to a bathroom, not inside the small office but out in the waiting area. Thank you again, love your chanel and how encouraging you are.

I watched your video today before work and tried that awesome triangle arm stretch on my clients today. They all seemed to love it. Thanks for showing me some new skills! Grounding so important too, great addition to the video. One of my signature moves for most clients is to go with flat supine hand under the back from this position, pulling up the spine then turning hands into a bridge for an underneath stretch on the occipital ridge, then tilting head withe fingertips to open bottom of neck and then do occipital ridge circles. Then Flowing up the scalp. I hope I explained that correctly.
@AMothersNature
@AMothersNature 8 месяцев назад
Omg that sounds amazing!! Will definitely have to try it out!! I’m a sucker for any occipital work, that’s where most of my stress likes to go. So glad your clients enjoyed the stretch! It’s hard to do with proper body mechanics- as you can see in the video I’m definitely not being very cautious of that! But it’s absolutely something I’ve been working on since last summer because I injured my neck. Honestly watching this video back made me cringe so many times because I realize how horrible my posture has been while working for so many years!! I hope you are being more aware of it than I was!! ❤

Do you ever work on people with scoliosis
@AMothersNature
@AMothersNature 8 месяцев назад
I have many times, yes. It’s not much different than working on a person with a typical spinal structure- only that I may work more on the erectors and they often have a lot of lower back/gluteal/IT band tension. I find that it definitely has an effect on hip rotation and pelvic tilt. But truly every body is different in one way or another- so it’s really just a matter of becoming familiar with what each client needs during that particular session.

I am currently in school for massage therapy and this video helped so much to get my massage sequence down. I am finding it difficult to memorize the order of different strokes as we will be tested on it. But i have found that every therapist does it differently and does not go in the same order or use the same massage strokes.
@AMothersNature
@AMothersNature 8 месяцев назад
Yes, it’s always different! Even for the same clients or people who I see on a weekly basis- I will change the routine depending on what their needs are that particular day. Having to memorize a routine for testing purposes is understandable, of course- so just keep it simple and make sure to do a good variety of techniques (effleurage, cross fiber friction, tapotement etc). I’m sure they are looking more for your ability to fill the entire hour, and to address areas of tension/pain/discomfort. Let me know how it goes! Wishing you all the best!
