Why did they stop? if it was because the track length then why in the hell wouldn't they get a proper track? SMH the corvette has a garbage driver, they were peeling out earlier in the race.
Good questions… they stopped because it’s just a 1/2 mile race, and then you have about 3/4 mile to stop. Also the Corvette driver was actually spinning his tires at first, to heat them up… they were drag radials to help the car put all the horsepower down! 👍
lol… it’s useful everyday I open and close my garage!! The info is there.. but you have to have some idea of what you’re working with. It is much easier once you take off the cover.
Amazing that it was able to hold well against a BUGATTI! : The ZR1 seemded to have pulled ahead from the start line. And closer to the finish line it also seemed to be closing the gap. And fast. -- Marco T. _My main Original, created & chosen colors: SkyBlue, Gold, Gray, Yellow).
Porsche shows its Turbo Lag! The ZR1 is equipped with a Whipple Twin-Screw Supercharger and instant POWER …BOOM the Corvette ZR1 easily runs away from the Porsche‼️🤔😱
@@stephanedaigneault3666 No shot, vette would've run out of it's powerband and the veyron would keep going upto 270 mph, 200 yards is a pissfully small amount of distance for how slowly the vette was reeling the bug in
I am a C4 guy and in my opinion Dave Schotz is the most Savage C4 Racer ever. Hes moved on now, but i rewatxh his vids to remind me that its never the car. Dave you are a C4 Racing Legend in my books 👍
That was pretty unfair, but the ZR1 kinda held it's ground. Even though it was majorly out classed!!!! Goes to show you,the Corvettes are some serious machines!!! I have a C-7 Corvette Stingray Z51 with manual transmission, haven't been beat yet!!! Been up agents turbo, and super charged Mustangs, Challenger's and Chargers. I know that my car isn't the greatest, and I know that I can be beaten, but it hasn't happened yet.
I love Vettes, but all wheel drive with no or very little tire slippage And 60+% weight on the rear tires, plus a double clutch tranny, is pretty hard to beat. All Vettes thru C7 have some trouble of hooking up on stock tires, now a C8 is a totally different animal and when it hits in the ZR1 guise a lot of people are going to pissed off.
