Next Saturday (9/7) is opening day for bow where I live and I'm taking my 6 y/o on his first hunt. That is a challenge in and of itself so I am definitely going to try this to increase our odds.
Great video.. It truly is a completely different product that has hit the market for saddle hunting. I bought one a couple weeks ago and have gotten really used to it and I love the quality of the bag and the silence of it, though I do feel that the bow hook and quiver hook that comes with. It is extremely cheap and would not recommend hanging a couple thousand dollar bow 20 feet from the ground with them.
Excellent video! As a side note, most if not all, canned soups have a lot of preservatives and chemicals. I think you would be better off with fresh ingredients. Thanks for the video.
You didn’t like the tactacam when you started. The images you showed weren’t close at all. Tactacam was in a lot more Sun. I’ve got the tactacam because, I’m just a retired old guy. It takes big cas h to own the trigger cam. I can do with a little less for 250.
What’s up Matt. I got my Pack Rat Saddle Pack a month or so back and love it. I agree with you 100% though and feel the chest strap and the double buckles are really the only down falls. It’s honestly a really great product. Good Review and I look forward to trying mine out this year with the rest of the Riverbend Bowhunter boys. 👍🏼
That would be a great tool for fishing trips too. First thing that came to my mind was storing a tackle box or small cooler on the back shelf and rod holder where the front basket is. Great video!
Pro tip, when reverse searing in the cast iron skillet put bacon grease in the pan to cook it in! 🤤 it doesn’t take much, maybe a heaping table spoon, not trying to deep fry it just get a crust. 🤌
@@manvsdeer if you really want to get fancy sometimes I get some blackberry preserves and put some in a small pan and reduce it down with some balsamic vinegar until it forms a glaze and drizzle it over the sliced blackstrap. Also great on grilled ducks, dove etc.
You leave all the sinu on? You dont trim it off ever? The slime sinu stuff on the outside of the meat drives me nuts. Havent really aged any deer. Ive only hung in the garage a few days but i always trim off the slime and sinu after.
I have pretty much to The same weapon but the one main difference is minus a 300 win mag I had to choose that 1 because that's the weapon I had in the military Remington 700 win mag
@@timmilliken1009 my experiences have been great in both smaller and crooked trees the bottoms of them kick out way less than any other stick I’ve used and I’ve had a pile of them
Xop should just get rid of the vanish at this point. I ran it as a mobile setup but it was heavy they need to reduce costs on the smaller stands for just dollars more you can get lwcg
@@jamesstockton3777 so, not plastic first of all, carbon fiber which is super high end. Go price a carbon fiber bow against a regular one and see the difference in price weight and quality. 2nd these haven’t came out yet unless you’ve been to an outdoor show and purchased, so I’m fairly positive your making an opinion without any hands on experience. I’ve touched both in person and in my opinion these are the best out there for multiple reasons.
I bought these over the hyperlite …. Hyperlite sound like a construction job .. Way too loud . They have no way of mating together while ascending the tree, and they have no aider . the only upside to the hyperlite is that they stack flatter

I put one of these out last year and was really happy with it. I will say that the pictures stored on the card are WAY clearer. It's a pain to go pull it, (and it kind of defeats the purpose of a cell cam) but if you get one sent to you that has something interesting you can go pull the card and see it very clearly. For the price, it's very solid. Great review!
Also, regarding battery life, I had the 1000 picture a month plan set to 10s trigger and the cheapo batteries I put in it lasted from the end of August to the beginning of February.
Ive seen som reviews of that harness. Alot of Rock Climbers call it Chinese Junk. NewDoar. Do you feel its safe. I mean its like 20 bucks. Im just trying to find a safe budget harness.
@@MichiganDragonSlayer I’ve been using this one for 4 years now with no problems at all never had any moments where I felt unsafe but, I also never hand my full weight from it often like a rock climber would
My G50 and G70, turn the White Balance BLUE. Not a little blue, ALLOT blue, and, My G70 focus hunts contently. Shooting 5 min of footage, takes me 2 hours. Curious if you have this issue, and any solution, other than full Manual, which is also a pain, when I'm just trying to sit at a desk, and show parts
