Why is glue being used in this case? I thought glue is only used for in-wall connections. Under a sink it would make for much more difficult maintenance.
Very helpful, thank you! The small pipe section that connected to the controller unit was glued on tight. I ended up having the replace it because I could not get it off. Recommend to others to consider buying a few extra pieces of 1/2" pipe to have on hand while you're at the store already buying pipe dope.
I just got quoted $900 to do this yesterday. I didn’t think it was worth it and only paid a $70 visitation fees. Thank you for this video because I’m 100% confident I can do this myself. May God bless you.
I don't usually go around commenting on videos, but this was a greatly recorded and very educational, especially with how you named all the supplies you were using in the video! Very nice job and a great looking basement too!
I have unclog my toilet successfully many times using a plunger without watching this video but today I tried like 5 times and it won’t unclog and water is coming out of the bottom of the toilet. If I replace the wax ring would that fix the problem or do I have something deep clog inside the toilet and do I need to use a toilet 3 feet auger? I’m confused
Thank u saw another guys video and he was plunging it weak so I thought that was the strat but he was wrong tried it ur style and yup under two minutes the toilet was unclogged
Didn't show how to replace the male for the water hose... i pull from it, its hard plastic and it broke of i have a Rhem gas water heater. I saw water at the base one day before and in the morning there was no hot water. Trying to fix it myself.
Great video. I recommend changing the hyperlink for the reducing coupling to a galvanized version since it is subject to the elements in this project. Nobody wants rust :)
Thanks for the video. I was getting code 7 and at first I wire brushed the thermocouple, pilot light housing, and the thermoelectric probe which fixed it for a few days. It kept returning and I would clean more every couple of days when it failed again. I finally bought a control valve and it only lasted 1 day. What else could it be? Do I need to replace all the piping for the burner and pilot?
