Judahray. No, He wanted Gabe to use the mic in front of the choir. That mic was eq'ed for speaking. The one in front of the choir,was set for vocals. I was the bass player on that appearance.

I first heard this composition in the early 80's. Went to see Art Blakely and the Jazz Messengers in London at the club Ronnie Scott. Little Man was my favorite song. First met Charles in high school and was privileged to hear some of the best music ever. You will be missed.
