If the opening monolog about almost no film crew or budget is true, and I believe it is, due to the production values all through the film, then this is the BEST independent film I've seen in years. Great job guys and gals. This thing was non-stop from beginning to end.
Wow! Great film, terrific actors, and amazing story! It’s rare to be surprised by movies these days. Independent filmmakers like Jesse Frank are the new leaders in this art.
Though it is used as the name of a Star Wars monster, Rancor is actually an English word meaning “long withstanding feelings of bitterness or resentment” and is what the movie's title is pulled from.
@@RancorMovie You’re right! Sorry. I guess when reading the word, I read RANK-OR (the way they say it in Star Wars), whereas when I hear the word said in the way you defined it, we pronounce it RANK-er. Maybe I’m completely out of my mind. I guess I didn’t know the monster and the emotion were spelled the same. Good luck with the movie! It looks great! BUT it would be a really funny Star Wars spinoff to basically follow the Rancor around on an average day at work in Jabba’s palace. See what he eats. Maybe he has some hobbies. Has a human friend. Then he gets killed by Luke.
Haha! No worries and thank you so much! We hope you get a chance to enjoy the movie! And that's a pretty funny idea! Maybe we'll do that for the next feature😂
