But why be ashamed of Appalachia? If your aren’t or you are, these Appalachian people believe you represent6 them too. They pay to hear & watch you, we are ALL AMERICANS! There’s you a song I’ll help write it. ‘Theres nothing to be ashamed of’ if anyone of us are ashamed of being from Appalachia thats a pity. You even said yourself you bought land in WV & VA. I know you’re from VA but………You also said you’d never have to work again in your life IF you didn’t want to. These Hill-folk, hillbillies & rednecks (there’s other names I’m sure) They we like you & your songs. Please have some respect ✅ These people put food on your table just the same as the rest of the Country 🤔🫵🏻
Oliver Anthony music is a cry to get help for our country. One day our country will unite, all people from different races and backgrounds... things will get very bad but it will be beautiful to see the people uniting, the people the government has been trying to separate and silence for many many years. Thank you Oliver
God is working through this young man and he’s tryna get us to open our eyes to what’s going in on in the world around us. And it’s like the acoustics is telling us we DON’T need technology as much as we think we do and what we actually need is to touch more grass and less glass!😅
My Pop died in April this year. Hard and complicated man from the hills of Western North Carolina (his people were immigrants from Europe, through Virginia). About 4 days before he left this Earth, I introduced him to Oliver Anthony’s music. I’m not sure if he listened or not, but I know if he did he would have loved his sound and taken it to Heaven with him.
I listen to this a lot...I always tell my old Ford f250 not to listen ti that Ford joke. She don't seem to mind it. "Long as my old truck still fires on up." Come play at Red Rocks, CO. I'm 45 minutes away. Best venue in the world. You'll be well received.

Kinda confused why you start out reading the Bible, then put all that cussing in your music? It ain't necessary to get your point across. This is good music. Just wish I could let the kids hear it.
I'm not sure if you will ever see this comment, but I grabbed my wife that I love more than anything in the world and danced to the chevy 350 song right in the middle of my living room. With my kids wondering what the heck we are doing doing. Well your song is everything we are about. I hope there might be a day that I can thank you for your great music. Keep on keeping. I pray that when our father calls you up, he will say, "Great job, my faithful servent."
