You helped a lot. The enemy team got punished for pushing and got out-traded in damage. Your position was pretty good in that sense, but it honestly would've been better if you went with your team on the left flank. You would've had the ability to dish more damage, provide better cover and put more pressure on the enemy if you were in a more exposed position.
You're right. But it's better to save myself because they can see me at any time, especially since the enemy has a Petropavlovsk radar and they can easily kill me there. This is the first thing that came to my mind.
@@mostwantedgaming3467You see how your team positioned at 6:30? Only enemies that pushed would have gotten an angle on them and it was a very firm defensive position. If they took out your destroyer your team would have no vision and way less zoning potential. Essentially, you would have lost that flank if he died early. You would have taken damage if you took a better position but still wouldn't have sunk if you stayed with your team and denied the enemy angles on you. It's essentially you trading a little HP for way more pressure on the enemy team. iirc in this video you didn't kill the enemy DD early which could have ended absolutely horribly. It's good to have that radar presence, flank pressure and AA for your team. Sure you did a good chunk of damage but at the expense of the above. I used to play very competitively and I recommend you set very simple objectives for yourself in a game and follow through. In a minotaur I recommend playing around the initial DD engagement every round has by providing support fire and radar presence. If your DD wins it's GG. If theirs wins you still have radar to compensate. Petro can't kill you unless you're out in the open, don't kite his battleships, don't angle and don't use island cover Complicated stuff aside, world of warships has a lot of muscle memory you have to develop if you wanna play seriously. Of course you don't have to, not everyone enjoys competitive play, but I'm leaving these tips just so you can boost your winrate a little and have more fun.
to not lose your complete squad. if you fly into something (like a CV) where you know you gonna lose all and can only drop once anyway, you sent 1 of your planes home ^^
