If it were B*A the solution would be undefined or not possible because you would be multiplying a 2x3 by a 2x3 matrix as the numbers in the middle (3 and 2) don't match. However with A*B, the numbers in the middle do match because 2x2 times 2x2, the numbers (2 and 2) are the same allowing multiplication. Hope this helps!
Really your way of explaining through activity is very good. Mostly Teachers taught chapters but small points are not told by teachers and you made it easy for students .I like it really.
