The withers isn’t a good guy.He merely saves you since there he has a famous adventurer to do what would otherwise be his own job.If you play as the dark urge even more so since he can then snatch bhaals prodigy into his own fold under the pretense of kinship. He is a true god.He could have anyone in the realms bend the knee to him.He choose the dark urge only to spit in the said faces of his own former coworkers the dead three that he himself choose to carry his own power before he weakened himself out of boredom. He saves the dark urge because it’s convinient. More so to the point illithid’s do not have souls in the traditional sense.Jergal the withers what ever you prefer to call him does not save you because he wants to help you as a friend. The dead three’s plans interferes with his own domain as much.As it does with the other pantheon gods in the story
I did this duel with a storm/oathbreaker sorcedin, and my god, it was super funny. Orin couldn’t even get me below half my health, mainly because I went to the house of hope and got a bunch of goodies.
There is a recording in the Cerberus HQ where Illusive Man talks to him and he talks back was it also cut out? bc it would make no sense since Illusive Man is responding to his lines.
@@Azumgi Thats a bummer. Bc the mod would be a 10/10 when they left it in those scenarios of course with the whole masked look and a filter over the voice. that sh*t would have been more menacing.
What a cringe fucking game, lol. I'm glad I pirated it and deleted it after roughly 12 hours, it was super boring DEI trash. But, I'll give it credit, it let me kill the githyanki while it was caged like an animal. I had that cleric chick burn her to death, man her screaming was epic as fuck, so you know. Cringe, but I guess it was okay in that respect.
When I first saw this, it was the most badass and intimidating thing I’ve seen in the game, especially with that bard dlc outfit. Made Durge/Orin look like a pied piper serial killer, looks creepy.
@@nicolaszan1845 Letho from Witcher 2 was a huge muscle head and he was a assasin. I think its intresting to see strong guy being sneaky rouge. You could subclass as Barbarian/Rouge or Fighter/Rouge.
So...when I found out this mod was a thing I downloaded it in like 24 picoseconds. It's a glorious - and hilarious - example of how just keeping it in your damn pants sometimes results in a better product. The people writing Kai Leng thought he was so fuckin' COOL, and he's the second cringiest thing in the entire saga. But simply strip him of his dialog and cover his stupid face? BOOM. Suddenly he actually IS kinda cool. There's still annoying-ass plot armor, but this mod does a lot with very little. And 14:07 just blew my mind. I didn't see it coming, and its so obvious and yet so effective to show, in the end, who this guy is. Some of these mod authors really have a good eye for storytelling beats. This is the kind of mod that seriously repairs ME3. Take Earth Back and the Happy Ending Mod do a ton of heavy lifting of course, but mods like this make me smile. Because this mod actually kinda changes my opinion on Kai Leng's inclusion. It just needed some tweaks, and suddenly he's a functional and interesting character, and not a cringe factory. Quite a feat!
Its funny how him being silent gives him an actual different personality from walmart ninja into an actual badass cyber assasin. This mod is just amazing and it does not add anything instead just removes something and makes it better somehow.
@@Azumgi I think ME3, in particular, needs a few mods to prune it down. For all its juicy content, there's a lot I'd get rid of if I knew how. Like the Normandy rescue on the beam run. Or the Virmire Survivor entirely. If they died on Mars they'd have a bigger impact than what we get after they survive. I felt like Kaidan and Ash both were so lame in ME3, almost to the point where it seemed like the writers hated them. XD Anything come to mind for you?
@@wilder11 Personally I like Kaidan In ME3 he gets some personality later and i liked his dialogue at the end and in Citadel DLC but Ash is just boring. I didnt like how dreams were the same thing over and over with that kid BUT there is a mod that makes dreams amazing because it gives them a foreshadowing for what about is going to happen later on and gives Shepard much more depth about his peronal issues in the story and its amazing, mod is called Dreams Remade www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/1630
@@Azumgi Oh yeah, that's a must-have mod too. Completely turns around the dreams. When the child remains a symbol of Earth, essentially, I think he's fine. The dreams in that mod are perfect. They build on each successive chapter of the game, communicating a very clear message without being overly blunt either.
Huh.... so that was his boss fight... I fried his brain on Very Hard with quickhacks before he even jumped down from the platform he starts at (he was dead before he touched ground) so I never saw anything of that. Guy was a bitch.
Do you think that Withers gave up his position as the God of Death for similar reasons? Eventually growing tired of answering the prayers of murderers and sinners, hoping that one day someone would turn against their nature and seek redemption, but they never did.
When I fought Orin as a barbarian Durge, I stunned her, and wailed on her. It was way easier than I anticipated, though it may have been because I was at max level
stoooop this rules so hard because not only does it improve kai leng but it also adds way more weight and significance to the cerberus agent with a husk face you find during the mars mission. I audibly gasped when he lifted his face i love the modding community fr. Kai being subjected to modifications by the illusive man who has been indoctrinated the whole time and being basically an example of a perfected organic creature turned reaper made weapon adds so much depth to the whole game it's so sick!!!
Plus, it actually makes him more terrifying with a touch like that; it reminds us that the Cerberus we fight in ME3 are basically a paramilitary force of brainwashed zombies who are too far gone to be reasoned with.
I'll be making FemShep Vanguard for myself before I making a MalShep for my fractured brain too me for fun to me whenever I that opportunity for myself again for fun to me again for fun to I.
@@dgrblue4162 ME3 is full of unforgiveable sins. And yes, it does go woke and seems more focused on it than the overall story, and well as rehashing old exposition from the previous games to accommodate lazy players who skipped the first two games. Also, because the original story script got leaked, the original ending scrapped entirely and ALL of Priority Earth was remade in the last two weeks of production, which is why it feels generic and rushed and boring compared to the suicide-missions of ME1 and ME2. Not to mention the retcons.
@@rickoshay5525 " And yes, it does go woke" And nothing in the take earth back or audemus mods remove 'the woke stuff', so it's just as 'woke' as Bioware's version, except this on you like because it has a better narrative ending. Shep can still be LGBTQ with Kaiden or Steve or Traynor. So nope, not 1% less woke, just a lot better written ending. :P
