She suffers still from a car accident that she wasnt supposed to recover from 6 weeks in a comma and had to learn to walk and talk all over. so the grimaces are from back and leg pain
I been suffering with AFib since 2020, I just had Open heart surgery on July 1, 2024 for Subaortic Stenosis,also Aortic Valve Stenosis!! I went back to the hospital due me going into AFib again for the 3rd time since surgery. The last time I went into the hospital was July 13, 2024, the put me on Dofetilite 250mg, it was to strong and I was having shortness of breath really bad, they lowered the dose to 125mg and monitor for five doses and I didn't go into AFib,so they released me today July 18, 2024 . I got home today and started having AFib,but it stopped thank God. I took my night dose,but I'm so nervous, because the can't do an EKG since I'm home. I put 20 poke berries into a jar with one cup of apple cider vinegar smash them all up and pour through a strainer to catch all the seeds. Now you have your juice of the berries in the apple cider vinegar pour one cup of organic honey into the juice store in the fridge and take 1 tsp when you are sick it is an amazing herb for wellness. You should always put just a small amount on the inside of your wrist for 15 minutes or so to make sure you are not allergic to the herb. Do this test for all herbs before using them. I am 71 years old and only use herbs for my good health I use no meds of any kind at this time. I make a Poke Root tincture also I have never used gloves ever. Reply
I always have 2-3 quarts of this exact recipe on hand. I put a tablespoon in either juice or my post-workout smoothie every day. My skin is in amazing shape and I don't get sick regardless of the cold, damp and gray Indiana winters. Truly a gift from God.
Glad the meds are working for you. I too have had afib for about 10 years. Had 3 ablations and have been on the same meds for years. A couple years ago I was going through, what felt like, non stop afib issues. Seemed like I was in ER ever couple months. On a road trip I was admitted to hospital in a rural part of Illinois. The cardiologist came in a said to me "how long are you going to be a fat ass?" Now this blew me away at many levels but it did get me thinking. Is he right is my weight part of the problem? How can I lose weight without being able to do cardio without going into afib as a result? After about 6 months of diet changes which included giving up most carbs I started to drop the weight without exercise. I gave up potatoes, bread and fried foods. I went from 225 lbs and 24% body fat to 165 lbs and 16% body fat. It really helped me get control of my body and life. I just wanted to share this with you and hope the best for you in your journey.
How do you make these if you dont have a Kitchen Aid Mixer? I know that probably sounds stupid but all I have is a Hand Mixer or Just my hand ..lol...also, there is a little restaurant called either Oliverio's or Collisessano's that make their own sweet peppers!❤ (they arent hot at all, just sweet mild peppers) Can you tell me how to make those?? And 1 mre thing...lol...Do you have a recipe for Steak and Cheese Hoagies w/ those sweet peppers? Thank you so much! Rock shelter we would find broken water bowls and Indian said when they left they would break the water bowls so the next Indian that came through know it is vacant if the bowls are not beakin some people was living here
You and I seem to have had a very similar journey. In my case, I have had 7 cardioversions, 2 catheter ablations, a thoracic convergent ablation and mapping and have been on serveral meds including Sotolol. My sotolol drug load was almost identical to your Tikosyn load! I was doing so well about a year and a half after my convergent procedure that my cardiology team thought I should stop the Sotolol. After being off it for about 4 months afib raised it's ugly head again! So I will be admitted this coming Tuesday, April 9th and will load back on the Sotolol. I wish I could have remained off of it because like Tikosyn, it is a dangerous medicine. But we would not have known if we had not tried. I hope your journey with afib is done and that you can remain out of it. Blessings!

I am happy for all of you that it is working. May I share my journey, should you not approve please delete it. I wish you all well. My adventure began in spring 2022 after I had Covid that was the onset. Before that I was a happy camper. I walked 5k's several times a week took hour long hikes with the pooch worked arduous hours as a cook and took care of my big garden. Great BP, great pulse, perfect weight (same as when I was 16😊), always been a health buff all was good. And then BAM. Since then I have had 15 cardioversions 21 days in the hospital and now I can't work. I am now in constant A-fib going on 4 months now. It is a nightmare. They have put my through 4 medications this latest Tikosyn. It worked well for about four months better than the other after I got used to it, I could perform my usual activities and then it stopped working. I no longer go in for cardioversions my veins are shot it is so painful when they try to find one that I pass out. I am waiting for an ablation in witch I have little confidence. I want off Tikosyn it is not worth the side effects if it doesn't work. Sorry for this horror story, I searched Tikosyn and this came up. I wish you all the best.
My Italian grandmother made these for my coal miner granddad in Kingwood, WV. Always wondered why I couldn’t find them outside the state. I will try this recipe for sure! Instead of cheese might add sliced pepperoncini peppers for a little heat. Thanks
