I see you have instrumentals on your site. Did you write them? How would one go about using your instrumentals to write a song? Could I just drop one of your tracks into my Logic Pro and have at it… kind of thing?

@@riverroomstudiospotterymus119 Perhaps eventually you'd do a cover of Calm Night by Viktor Tsoi? Probably without lyrics, but I bet you could just do the drums and guitar amazingly, especially the guitar around the four minute thirty mark of the song
@@MidanMagistrate I hadn’t heard of Viktor Tsoi, but just listened to the song. Apparently his band, Kino, was very popular in Russia… I think he was a bass player too? This is a good song. I’ll add it to the list. : )
@@riverroomstudiospotterymus119 Oh he's considered one of the greatest, people called it Kino-mania. I'd say he's the Mark Sandman of the East- Bass player, amazing singing voice coupled with amazing lyrics, and died too young. My favorite songs of theirs include Boshetunmai which is a sort of reggae song, The Last Hero which is a think an anti-war song, Blood Type, specifically the version of Blood Type from the album of the same name is a real classic that critiqued the Soviet-Afghan war. Calm Night as I mentioned before is so somber. Trolleybus is a real funky, you'd never guess what it's singing about based on how it sounds
@@MidanMagistrate okay, I’ll listen to those other songs too when I get a chance… and I’m sure I can find an online translator to show me the English translations. Do you speak Russian? Maybe you could sing the song and I’ll perform the instrumentals…possibly w help from my friends too…
I really enjoyed watching this creation video. I took some classes many years ago and it took me back to the feel of it all too. I also tried it with my elementary classes. Their items turned out great, but we ruined a table that the kiln was on. The dogs were a special addition.

Wow. Ty! I’ll take that to mean that I channeled him well. I’ve actually started to listen to their song, Scratch, lately. I’m gonna do another cover of that… this time trying to enlist a buddy of mine to do the drum part.
Totally agree! I’ve actually decided I’m going to do a cover of their song Scratch as well. This time I’m going to try and get the drummer and bass player from the band I’m in to do those parts…way better than me on those instruments. Hahah Working on an original song at the moment, but I’ll get to it in the next few months anyway. Thanks for the comment!
