A: THE SOUTH. Q: Who founded the KKK? Democrats. But those Democrats were also what? A: Confederate veterans of the civil war. Q: And where were they from? A: THE SOUTH. Now... Q: What party is the party of the Confederacy today? Which party's voters are proudly waving confederate flags and defending it? A: Republicans. Q: And where are they mostly located? A: THE SOUTH. And there you have it. Even though northern republicans died in the civil war fighting the confederacy almost 150 years ago THEY are the ones now waving confederate flags and talking about "Southern Pride" because the Republican party MOVED SOUTH, and won the south from the Democrats. In 200 years the Democratic and Republican parties might not exist anymore, There might be new parties but the southern pride, "Lost Cause" mentality will still live on IN THE SOUTH, even though it will be under the banner of a new party.
