I was supposed to be my B-cam but my son said he wanted to get into photography so I told him that if he show me that he is really interested in photography that he could have it, so we will see.
For my taste best FX6 setup for run and gun just... FX6 from the box. You need just take it from the package and it get ready. No need for any accessories, cages, batteries or monitor. Just camera and shotgun mic. I rigged mine only for staged sets, when I use Angineux PL lenses, external monitor, transmitters, time code, fiz motors, V-mount etc. For everything else just pure lightweight FX6 with autofocus Sony 24-105 or Leica M lenses if I need more pleasant images.
Great rig. The TILTA cage only has one mounting point and my a7siii would always slide around. I ended up returning it and getting the new small rig cage that has 2 mounting points. So much better and has a much slimmer body. I don’t think it looks as nice as the TILTA cage however.
That is what I have heard. I thought I also heard someone say they released a second version that fixes that problem. Hopefully lol Title quality has always been great!

Nice video and kit! In your experience, do most jobs require you to have your own monitor/follow focus kit? I am considering investing in a kit for this reason. Thanks!
All links to products are now in the description! They are affiliate links which doesn't cost you anything, but allows me to get a kick back from each item! Thanks for the supports guys!
really like your patient step-by-step instructions for your lean build! You might speed up the space in between critical areas. Also it would be helpful if you had listed the parts and links for purchasing them. That way you might have helped yourself to a bit of kickback and it would make it easier to find the exact cable lengths, etc.... Great job!
Hey! First off, thanks for watching and commenting! I have enjoyed watching your page for a quite some time! Secondly, here’s the link to the website instructions I followed! www.arielestulin.com/diy-trekpak-for-under-20/
Do you use the 70mm a lot shooting from hand? Im really missing the Image Stabelisation for this, and I find catalyst to time consuming as I have to analyse every clip induvidually? Hows your experience with this?
