The way I found out what career I wanted was by going to college and getting a general education to figure out what career field I wanted to enter. I recommend not just finding something important and valuable and meaningful to you but it also should be something based on your area of knowledge, abilities and skills. There are tests you can take to figure that out too like aptitude tests. It's also good to make a resume that includes not only your work experience but any volunteering you might have done, abilities, skills, hobbies, interests and maybe even so.e personality traits that can help. You can also have someone help you figure out questions they'll ask in interviews so you're prepared to answer when you you apply for your job.
1. Declutter your workplace 2. Create a to-do list 3. Prioritise 4. Set achievable goals 5. Use organisation apps 6. Don’t multitask 7. Reward yourself 8. Stay off social media 9. Audit your time 10. Take frequent breaks

architect.. how many revisions? how many hours? client cancelled without clear reason... and what even is beautiful design? very very very minimal data on site and brief hey, i got an idea! lets change the whole design from ground zero! how many design variation? yes, infinite.. and never, never have i heard construction runs fast which means the architect have to endure everything during construction not to mention client who doesnt understand construction phase, and reverse the whole constructing... only later it gets demolished cause it doesnt make sense.. or they dont have the budget just love your architect or designer.. if you see a good building/interior, thank them and bless their soul for coping with so much nonsense and still able to produce amazing results
Yes. You're right. This video and it's corresponding article www.careeraddict.com/5-most-difficult-jobs-in-the-world largely looks at hardest jobs in terms of risk/danger. I've relayed that to the content team :)
A simple alternative is search on RU-vid or google what job is good for me personality test and find one based on that you get yourself in to a college or job which connects
Hey! Yes, it's a general tip which does impact most other points. The other recommendations however are specific/actionable things and techniques you can do. There's different ways of managing your time and enhancing to organizational skills - it doesn't mean considering time alone will make you more organized :) I hope that helps!
Although highly appreciated this video, it has a few things I would like to address. First, most of the people trying to beat boredom at work, it's because we lack activities to focus on for a whole day, so most of this tips will not help on the long run. Also, the voiceover of the video is NOT working for this, it makes me feel sleepy and I'm trying to stay awake. I would recommend something more interacting or visually attractive because the images, style and lack of background to the voice it's making this video be more sleep inducing than helpful. I had to restart the video bc I was more sleepy was before starting watching and lost totally the first minutes of this. Final note, I put this long comment because I'm THAT bored and it's not helping at all to the intent of the video.
Thanks for your positive comment Matt :) Have a super week and stay in touch by subscribing to our The Dose newsletter at CareerAddict: dose.careeraddict.com/
Hey! This is why a neutral analysis in the form of a career test can prove so useful, to try consider options outside of your typical thought process based on your psychometrics and preferences. Give CareerHunter a go and let us know if it helps!
Don’t take the test on the website - it’s not free. You’ll just waste time to see pretty surfaced info, but would need to pay to get more details and options.

Actually, I don't have something I want to do. I just want to get sufficient money for my family, because they are the most important people in my whole life. So, I wish can give them everything than they gave me. It is my unique wish, give it someday for those who always love me and care about me. :)
Thanks for your comment. Money is definitely a big factor to consider. When you find a career that suits you best however, you will ensure you don't lose interest, work harder on a daily basis, and are more likely to stick at it long enough to succeed and be able EARN more.
Electrical lineman and transmission tower work gotta be up there…, specially the man lowered from a helicopter in a metal mesh suit onto energized/live, hot 220 Thousand volt cables is not a walk in the park job.
Hey, agreed! We have cell tower climber in the full article version and it could have easily made this top 10 video: www.careeraddict.com/5-most-difficult-jobs-in-the-world
But I'm bad at nearly everything and nothing interests me. My "hobbies" wouldn't transfer as jobs because it wouldn't match my personality and I'm not resilient or brave or positive enough. So I'm stuck in this God awful job I have and I wanna die just thinking about it.
You're best bet is to explore your options a little perhaps at this stage. Try the CareerHunter test we recommend in the description. It could help you think a little outside the box to combine your interests, goals and skills :)
This is a routine from which most of the people could get burnt out due to its strictness, timetabling aspect, causing extra stress by doing these micro-level, focus demanding tasks. You'd be already tired when you start your day at work.
Hey! It mentions this quite clearly on the site and in the description. You can still take 3 assessments at CareerHunter for free and get the top 3 results and some insights. You can also use our exclusive 50% discount in the description. Have a great week and thanks for watching :)

Help me decide my career: I love drawing, but I'm not very good at finding good ideas. I'm interested in animation, but my hearts not in it. I'm good at drawing and I enjoy illustrating books for authors. I don't want to be rich, but I want to make enough to live comfortably. I'm introverted and spend a lot of time alone, but I still want to work with people. I tend to be a late-night owl and procrastinate.
Hey! This is why we recommend taking a career test like CareerHunter. It will give you some different directions to look into based on your interests, goals and general aptitude :) You can take the full test using the discount in the description.
Thanks for useful tools! I use WorkTime for work, and it has greatly helped me become more productive and made it easier to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
While these 7 pieces of advice are correct, they are still leaving people scratching their heads - so, how, by doing all these things, can I choose my dream career? I've worked with hundreds of people on this topic and shared my more pragmatic approach in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xKFvEMhsnRs.html
