@@blisteringbooks2428 yea i agree with everything you just said 😅 the lighting was terrible 😫 alot if photos went into the trash and the ones I did rescue were so grainy 🥺 but it was a fantastic experience none the less 🤗
@@JwelshPhotography I have a farmhouse in Spain, I was there in May/June and it was the opposite, a four year drought, no water, no insects, no birds. It was too hot for anything to move around.
@@blisteringbooks2428 yea that's typical photography 😅🤣 I would limit it to wildlife but the amount of times I've gone out for a sunset shoot and clouds have come over last minute and covered the whole thing 😅😫 but my philosophy is get out there and see what happens 😅🤣
Excellent video 😀 I live in Seaton and you did really well seeing all those birds in one go, particularly the barn owl & a kingfisher on the perch, which are pretty rare! Also looks like the hide wasn’t as crazy busy as it has been with the ospreys about?
@@mike.woolley oh it was pretty packed for most of the day which is why I couldn't use any audio from the footage I got due to talking etc 😅 your very lucky to live in such a beautiful place I'm very jealous 🤣 I really appreciate you watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it 🤗
Wow you saved the best to last - well done getting the osprey stooping. Fantastic captures. The barn owl was lovely too and the kingfisher. For a grey day you got some good shots!
Thankyou so much 🤗 I appreciate the watch 😁 yea it was grey and horrible but bright so I struggled quite alot with settings and trying not to have the sky too blown out but having the subject well lit 😩 but I'm glad you enjoyed them that's the whole reason I do these videos 🤗🤗 thankyou again 😁🙏
You must have got up early to leave Plymouth for it to still be dark when you got there lol. But it looks like it was worth it. Been to Seaton tramway twice with our granddaughter but not with the camera, really nice place plenty of birds. Nice video and images 👍.
@@LenCarey thankyou so much 🤗🤗 yea I think it was a 4.30am pickup to get there at half 5 😅 I just couldn't believe someone beat us there 😱 it is absolutely stunning there and the wildlife is fantastic 😁 definitely another trip there soon 🤗
Lovely video , reminds me of your dad and his passion for wildlife photography Great photos of the osprey At the end of the video when you showed pictures of all the birds you saw it may be worth just adding some text of what the bird or birds are in the picture. Some I knew but others I didn’t. Great video though Jonathon , thanks for sharing.

They woods bring back memories. Used to play down there quite a lot in the early 60s and the woods the other side of the road, I won't say the names. Nice video, enjoyed watching it 👍
Entertaining video 😀 Like yourself bad weather doesn`t stop me getting out unless the rain is biblical lol. Rabbits are one of my favourite subjects probably because we don`t have any Hares here but they are fun to watch and photograph.
Oh yea if its raining too bad I stay in bed 😅🤣 not sure what my favourite subject to photograph is tho other than birds 😅 not any one bird in particular tho 🤔 thankyou for watching 🤗

Also your footage on youtlr trail cam is amazing 😱 I'm actually jealous of the owl trying to catch that rat 😍 incredible footage 😁

Could you not speak to the landowner maybe and ask permission to go onto their land to photograph them? You might even get to set up a trail cam there too if your lucky 😁 my and my photography got permission from a lical farm and here there now n then 😁
@@JwelshPhotography It is a good idea something I will definitely look into there are sightings on my local bird blog so hopefully one of those will pay off if I visit 😀

@JwelshPhotography they were very noisy but yea they definitely been chewed up by the bever. Well defo go back and have a proper look, maybe go the other way next time (upriver)
No there was a pair but the female stayed around the reeds on the other side of the lake. I believe she was nest building as I saw them go in and out quite frequently
Nice to see. Keep at it and good luck. I've never ventured down the Creek, maybe one day. My first Nikon was the D3200, although that was quite some time ago, I still have it too, stashed away.

Good to see the house sparrows. We have a small colony that visits our garden most days and we supported them with soaked mealworms when they were raising young in the Summer.
Oh wow that's awesome 🤗 we have nest boxes on our house so we get all the fledglings along the fence in the summer 😁 can't wait till next year so I can capture it all 🤗
