@John Scanlon8833 Cohen's humor would be despised in Israel. It's gentle, forgiving, ironic and funny. It's about human beings. And it's Yiddish. Not Hebrew. Have you seen Israeli "comedy"? It's the farthest thing in the world from this clip.
As a journalist wrote, The Palestinians don’t have normal lives because when given the choice in 1948 between partition and war, they chose the latter. Conflict over land and resources may be the normal condition of mankind, but it is not normal for one society to wage war for decades, lose in war despite military, financial, and political support from larger powers and, because those larger powers incentivize more war, continue to make war. This isn’t normal. In fact, there is no example of anything like it in world history.
He used to crack me up as a kid. My favorite schtick was when he played his character, J. Schwartz New York (always staying at the Sherry Netherlands), which I haven’t been able to find on a film clip… 👍🏼🤣

Thanks Jen! I was really hoping for a better community response from my original post. ( BradConnolly.com/TheEssentials/ ) I was originally encouraged by the Mayor liking the idea. But as you no doubt noticed in the video, there were only TWO local establishments who responded. I had even reached out to public services including the Hospital, to no avail. So I did the best I could and worked in a tribute to All First Responders & Health Care Workers Everywhere. They really are proving to be Heroes!
Whew! I had never met her, but my goodness, what a beautiful video and a beautiful woman, whose smile lit up everyone and everything around her and to which, no one can ever forget. God Rest her Soul that she may she be soaring with the Angels!
