I’m assuming by “active” in ears you guys are referencing DSP? Does the Pearl system allow for full parametric equalization? that’s really the only way to tune an in ear past around 10khz+ because of individual ear canal resonances and whatnot. edit: Overall I disagree with the idea that true subbass shelf recreation can only happen through DSP however. Many chifi companies have gotten the crossovers correct to be able and isolate and create a true subbass shelf. Also, I will say this…even with a single dynamic driver usually the tuning is so good that it also shelves the bass very neatly. different microphones and measuring devices for IEMs such as the GRAS/711 coupler exaggerate bass and lower mids, so a “muddy” bassline in reality for human ears is not so but neutral with a bass boost. Of course nothing crazy only a slight shelf but usually good enough to emulate a flat speaker in a decent room
I like how you don't include the price in your video. You don't want to bother to tell me, I'm not even going to bother to look on your website. I will move on to the next earbuds with microphones video that at least has a link to their website. SMH. Come on guys you got to do better than this.
@@JHAudioOfficial yeah you're a little too late for that bro. I already purchased something else. Maybe on the next video you should leave a link. Just saying.
That's the Pearl™ Tri Amp Micro Speaker Management System. Check out our latest video titled "The Innovative Engineer". It goes further into detail on what all the Pearl™ can do.
Would be cool to see some sort of dynamics processing as well. As rare as it is with a good monitor engineer, loud burst of music/noise are possible which if loud enough can really mess up your ears. A multiband limiter would be an awesome addition.
Curious if the dsp box needs to be in line with the rx? How rad would it be if the ear pieces themselves housed the data to operate without the pearl box
Yes, can this work with my Rosannes? I would love to be able to customize the curve to account for my hearing loss. I have a more severe loss on my left side and I’d love to be able to adjust the volume and eq separately for each ear. And speaking of which, has JH Audio ever thought of making super high fidelity hearing aids? I’m a musician and former sound engineer (back when I could hear better) and even though I’ve got premium hearing aids that help me understand speech they fall woefully short in other frequency ranges. I’d love to somehow turn my Rosannes into super high fidelity hearing aids if that were possible. Thanks for all you do, I LOVE my Roseannes!
If your Roxanne's have 4-pin or 7-pin connectors, the Pearl will work with them. You can EQ for your hearing loss, if you have an audiogram it shouldn't be an issue at all.
Yes, as long as they have 4-pin or 7-pin connectors. Pearl will not work with 2-pin versions. There are no short-term plans for an app, this is a PC-based software that is usable on Mac with parallels.
Maybe I missed it, but what does the I/O look like for this? Interested to see if it works for multiple pairs of ears or just one set per, especially for live sound applications.
Obviously this is mostly designed for live use, but will this be available and useful for audiophiles? Not quite sure exactly how this device works once it's disconnected from the computer.
Yes, it will be available for audiophiles. When connected to the Pearl software, you'll be able to program and shape the audio, programming the pack. Once the pack is disengaged, the flash stays in the pack, it doesn't change until it is overwritten.
There isn't a finer listening experience on the planet than JHAudio IEM's. I purchased JH16 Pro's 10 years ago and they are still the best thing I've ever listened to music through.
The 7-pin Litz Wire Cable is $199 on the site as an accessory, but costs $250 as an upgrade to the IEM order itself. Any difference or particular reason?
Thanks for this overview! We're glad to be a part of this innovative system. Just a note that if multiple stereo ambient mixes are on a stage, the DSQD half-rack 4-channel receiver might be a good choice for such a system.
Hello. I'm Juan Carlos, from Spain. Where in my country can i get earmolds yo buy JH11 or JH7?. I'm guitarist and i don't know yet what is better to live and studio. THANKS and Happy Christmas!!!
