I went to Three Sisters last night. Started in Kart 11 which I really liked but then it started misfiring loads and losing power. When I pulled in I got given Kart 23 and I immediately thought “omg this is so much faster”, but where I barely ever lost the back end of #11, the #23 was absolutely wild in comparison I span out a couple of times. Trying to get back up to the pace of everyone else before the tyres were fully warm, plus the balance was just way different as the seat was stuck way forward, plus as you’ve described here maybe it’s just a more unstable kart. Still had great fun.
Glad you had fun. Three Sisters is a great place and if you are lucky to get a good kart, it is great fun. It is a bit more annoying to get bad one and are 1-2 sec off your normal pace especially in a race. Did not do anything this year yet, but 23 used to have one of the best top ends but it was mean (slippery) in the corners and personally I never found my pace in that one. Others like Phil managed to get the best out of it, I guess that's where the difference in skill / routine shows. 5, 25 used to be the greatest but then they did something to 6 and it was like a rocket with great handling and destroying every other kart. I set my PB in that one and I was like 1 sec faster then normal.
@@NauniRacing if I decide to sign up for one of the Ironman races ill have to hope for that one 😁 It was great run, my first time proper karting where there isn't half the people being super slow. 52.2 my fastest but definitely left some out there, lunar bend I really struggled with getting round it with the bumpiness near the apex, and was always out of position coming out of the turn after Conrod straight. Didn't watch your videos enough beforehand!
90% of these are you problem bc why tf would you set up your place for uk and then complain that its uk. Then complain about the cafe and shitty cars, when if they give you a gr.1 porsche hybrid '16 on a track you dont know you will have real big problem with learning the car. But the ps plus thing is really fucking dumb cuz you just want to play competitive or with friends but gotta spend shit ton of money. Also you don't really need to touch the setup of the car for it to be fast. I completed gt7 without touching anything but the tyres, i only adjust the setup when im trying to get a real good lap on a certain track, bc the default settings do just fine. Yea i agree that gt7 is really bad for new players but not for these reasons. 70% of the fucking video you just complain for the tutorials. Btw the acc lobbys are really shit like you said, i dont search lobbies bc of it.
Interesting. I see some drivers on YT driving with the wheel in their lap, I never understood that (kinda goes against what I was thought how you should drive including professional driving training - almost straight arms with slightly bent elbows) Is it something for SIM only or general driving?
@@NauniRacing general driving. look at onboards in any GT series. look at how close the driver will sit to the wheel. with straight arms you lose a lot of ability to control your movements and to steer quickly. it’s why f1 drivers sit so close too. you need the wheel close so you have maximum speed, strength, and control in your inputs, but not so close that you can’t steer lock to lock.
This honestly sounds like a you problem😐😐🤞🏽this rant is pointless 1stly just activate the account with ps plus as the primary console and that will route the ps plus to all your accounts on the console… The licenses and tutorials for driving etiquette are there to ensure that players don’t play bumper cars on the track to keep the races clean and fair hence you begin with them prior to entering races with experienced players… you’re going to ruin their experience because you couldn’t be bothered to go through training!? They allow you to gain track experience just like time trials that award credits upon completion for obtaining certain times
"1stly just activate the account with ps plus as the primary console and that will route the ps plus to all your accounts on the console…" That actually worked, thanks for the tip! "The licenses and tutorials for driving etiquette are there to ensure that players don’t play bumper cars on the track to keep the races clean and fair hence you begin with them prior to entering races with experienced players… you’re going to ruin their experience because you couldn’t be bothered to go through training!?" I do not have a problem with licences, but the Menu books are just plain stupid. You are driving (mostly crappy) road cars [or taking photos] on tracks that are not very often in multiplayer without ANY RULES (like track cut, or contact penalty or PP limit). Waste 3 hours with stupid cars (countless unskipable cutscenes) on stupid tracks and then you go online and find yourself in a GR4, GR3, GR2 whatever car on a track you never seen. I would be all up for a meaningful licence test / online racing tutorial which actually preps you for the things you find online. Also I do not think you will ruin "experienced" players game as due to the ranking system you will not be racing SuperGT.
@@NauniRacing bro be good enough to be in A+ and S rated lobbies then you will see those kind of players if you’re lucky to join in with them… XP can be in B rated lobbies too, not just Super GT lobbies because there will always be people driving like baboons with a vengeance for a little “love tap” even in A+ lobbies you get to see this kind of rubbish behaviour from players You clearly haven’t experienced the other online races with normal road legal cars… like the alphard recently People will always complain at the end of the day when a game provides less and when it provides more, it’s a waste of time!? And is still a problem… Yeah I definitely am not a fan of the cut scenes😤 it’s great content but damn…
Angolok megmonják egyből, max a lengyelekkel szoktak összekeverni. Elég specifikus az akcentus, lengyeleket, magyarokat könnyű itt felismerni, már csak azért is mert inkább amerkai jellegű a szókincsük / beszédstílusuk :D
I have 4 accounts. 2 EMEA, 1 USA and 1 New Zealand. Only my main account is PS Plus. As long as I download the games to this account, they are available in all accounts. You do not have to buy PS plus for each account.
Yes, but can you change your nationality flag on your main account in Gran Turismo? Given your main account is registered to the country you live in (UK in my case), as you want to pay in local currency for most of the things, but you would like to have your nationality flag (HU) when you are racing in GT7. So you can not use my main account (as you can not change region once created), and you can not play online on you national account without PLUS. [I know, these freaking migrants have so many problems :D]
Thank you… this is why I say that this is pointless, if you want to have a certain national flag then that’s what you should have done to begin with… you chose a flag of a country which you might be domiciled and not the one you were born? Come on, who’s fault is that… not Sony’s or Polyphony’s either! These companies catch strays for no reason
@@hoonehhr But you can not choose, it is tied to your PSN accounts "Region". If you live in the UK you will have a PSN account in the UK region, because you want to pay in the currency you make your money in, and because it is where you live (and this means you will have a British flag in GT7). Why can't be a "Nationality" option in the game? Or in PSN? That is just plain stupid.
@@NauniRacing you want sony to deals with bugs or your complaints regarding the flags of nationality?🙃 think long and hard about it… you and I are just a number in their books, there isn’t enough of a complaint that can warrant a course of action from playstation… you’re making your personal issue theirs and projecting it to the public for your own life choices… make use of a VPN or something like that… trust me, I hear you but that is a complaint that will fall on to deaf ears You referred to Super GT , he has two accounts both with different national flags if I remember correctly, UK & USA…
A RaceBox Mini is connected to the phone and using the Racebox app for lap timer in this video. We will be trailing "RaceChrono Pro" app in an upcoming race as the Racebox app has a few shortcomings.
There's one main takeway from this video: Phil can SOMEHOW fit into a CMR helmet, i.e a helmet specifically homologated for drivers under 15 😂great video as always
All id say is on kart 22 you ould have had the speed to go round the outside before the ramp. Kart 4 was an idiot and if its a race 17 was always going to push to get in front and try stay in front no point karting without that instinct. Good content though it highlights a lot of issues faced
Good takes. I still think that in a long karting race tactical driving is necessary. There are many instances when you fight very early in the race, you are ruining your own chances. I find myself working with similarly paced karts when they are partners so we do not loose time in the early stages. It is better to have two karts with a 30s advantage to the rest for the last 3-4 laps when we can settle it between ourselves, then fighting early an letting everyone catch up with us and having a 5-6 kart train fighting the whole race.
These lads are rapid indeed. 1.01 is a brilliant time on the first go, well done. TS Warrington is one of the most physical tracks in the UK, try to do the 40 lap one without practice, you will feel every muscle in your body for a few days (especially if you can do the lap times you are doing).
I don't really see anything wrong with his driving. When you are in kart 21 (one of the worst) you need to take every opportunity to not loose momentum as it just does not have any power whatsoever.
To put this into perspective, Ethan caught up to me, P16 backmarker over a corner ahead and driving a time of 1:00.286, on his 57.582 lap. Closing near enough 3 seconds in one lap is immense, especially doing so with such a time! Congrats to Ethan and it was fun being on track while this was set (I'll definitely be comparing our lines later!)
Yeah, although you are in kart 27 which is in very close competition with 21 for the worst kart at TSW at any given time, while Ethan is in kart 18 which is a strong performer and it was flying in general for a while. Between those two karts there is an easy 1.5s+ difference for the same driver.
@@NauniRacing Yeah definitely, I didn't even manage a 59 that night. Plus, me and Ethan have probably around a 12+ kg weight difference, none of this helped my case 😂.Unfortunately kart diff can't be helped and you've just got to put up with it!
Correction: The first lap we marked as Track Record in this video, was actually +0.037 behind the standing record at the time. Track record got broken ~2 weeks before filming this and we were not aware. Corrected times compared to the standing track record: 57.882 - A FAST BENCHMARK LAP | +0.037 57.735 - TRACK RECORD | -0.110 57.552 - TRACK RECORD | -0.293
Yup, Phil realised it once we finished the video (and it was too late to change or add notes). :D We did not have the timing tower and you guys have very similar clothing.
