What a great experience. Jodie is a Californian girl, had the pleasure of finding success in her own hometown, and now a star in the same place. Many of us have to cross oceans to find a stable life. I’m happy for her. I have loved her and admired her for a long time.
I like the TV show much better with Elizabeth having the experience and skill in the classroom. Her mother and sister in the movie were ridiculous to try to get her to take another position nearer to them.
It's so strange Kristen was originally cast Nicole Kidman's daughter in Panic Room (before she had to drop out) because you would've thought she was cast around Jodie, it's one of the best mother/daughter castings. When I watch Jodie in The Accused and Kristen in Welcome To The Rileys I swear I sometimes get confused over who is who because of how similar they are.
