Thank you, I am glad you liked it. I'm still a long way to go. In my last video i exposed the front end problems and have to re do it to have it more driveable.
I actually wondered why the batteries have to be removed when charging them, why not just charge them in the car? However now I know, if the battery blows up or catches fire outside the car, you just lose the battery, if it is inside the car, you run the risk of losing both the car and the battery if the battery goes haywire.
I was thinking earlier to weld the battery in completely but those batterys last around a year and unlike a lipo it is safe to leave in the car as long as its unplugged and it shouldn't cause a fire as nickel is less powerful and compact like a lipo which can store enormous amounts of energy. I'm in the process of tearing the truck down now and thinking of a easy strap in method for me to swap batteries but also lock it in tight to not have it fly out.
Bro that was EPIC!!💥✊🏾😳..BUT..only ah savage could survive that fall..😉😂💥✊🏾.. awesome jump bro.. awesome!..we might have to have a high jump challenge next summer🤔..yup..we might have too💥💪🏾..oh yeah I just subbed too😉👍🏾💥✊🏾
@@haywirerc gotta be wirth it I agree..start something new like ah entry fee..winner takes all..minimum buy in..gotta be so many entries..because shits gonna go BOOM!💥..😂 Lot of broken bones coming☠ especially for the traxxas guys😳🙄😉😂😂😂
@@relldisdonovan9162 thanks. I’ve beaten the carp out of the LST the past 3 months and it’s time I go ahead and fix everything that’s wrong with it. I’ll say the transmission was beaten good and it’s about time for me to maintenance it.
that's one hard landing! the hard part is finding replacement parts. but badass to see the hellst jumping off the building! getting the xxxmain video vibes!
Maybe too much inspiration from them😂 I watch one video of a buggy jumping over a house and see if mine can😂 it’s all for fun and after this I’ll be beefing it up so it’s for the better.
@@haywirerc if I would do that to my savage with heavy duty chassis, maybe some parts would break but easy to find. But overall that truck would still drive away. You should get yourself a savage as well if you want to do these extreme stunts like that! ;)
Should of listened to ducky. Maybe it was a little too high😂 I can’t wait to fix it as I’m hoping to get an integy chassis for it. Also gonna put LST2 rails on which are thicker.
What's the purpose I don't quite understand. I know you can replace the parts easy but why intentionally ttry to destroy the machine. Looks like a KEVIN TALBOT CHANNEL NOW. Oh well waiting on the next video👊🏾.
@@ryankosciesza5295 simple answer cuz I don’t have a tig😂 it’s all about learning I plan to do a “professional” cage in a few years when I save up for a tig welder and properly learn on it.
Awesome vid! I packed away the nitro stuff years ago, went lipo powered brushless and never looked back. This vid has me thinking about nitro's again it's so cool! Was out of the loop during the LST days, how hard is it to source parts for? I have a .21 powered Tmaxx, but honestly, it's more hassle than it's worth to me.
@@haywirerc Gotchya, thanks. Shame. As much as I dislike TRX, gotta give respect to their product support, no one else comes close to making parts available for as long as they do. I have a couple vintage Losi nitro stadium trucks I can't get parts for, stinks. Happy bashing brother!!👍🍻
Nice build, but the geometry for the front suspension is wrong…the angle of the upper link and lower control should be the same ….then you won’t get the weird camber angles when the front moves up and down.
@@markcole6475 thanks. I’m thinking of moving the servo and putting the links where they belong. I had to work around the servo as I put that in before doing the linkages
Yo for steering, use the MST TCR steering servo horn, it’s the exact same thing and it’s Inagrated together. It’s a servo horn and a servo saver at the same time. I hope this helps!!
@@haywirerc yeah looks awesome dude! I literally went and bought an iPhone 15 pro max to film with so good to know that I’m on the right path. Are you using a gimbal? And filming in cinematic? Your footage looks so crispy! 👌
@@NitroMuscle i film video mode with 4K 60fps. I never tried cinematic mode yet. I have a gimbal but the iPhone stability is pretty good so I don’t bother bringing it unless I think it’s needed. My gimbal is awful anyway and does more harm than good sometimes.
Damn dude thats a ton of camber change when the suspension cycles. Especially considering to its a center mount a arm design and not i beams. That's all geometry man. Look up old books on suspension geometry. It'll teach you roll center, Ackerman, the benefits of DUAL a arms in accordance to avoiding bump steer etc.
@@kelevra558 I welded the servo before the front suspension which was a mistake and I had to work around it. I’ll have fun reading thanks for the idea.
@@ronniesrc yea my buggy has a aftermarket turbo head for the seal backplate 454. I’m hoping to get it filmed as it’s been a whole year and we only used it a few times but the starter box is very bad.
