So your one of those type of people, who comment for No purpose. So let’s hear your solution for hail storm prevention for those of us living in a hail prone state? I’m guessing you have a great idea to keep vehicles safe fast and effectively!
Wow the Hail Protector that inflates covers more and actually seems cheaper from what I've seen or heard. This one looks pretty cheesy and real expensive for not even full coverage.
Preparation, just like you can’t pass exams, work or anything else with out being prepared, you get weather updates from Most news, social media, weather apts , so you don’t have your put it on at 15-20mph winds.
Will this fit in my trunk of a 2024 VW Tiguan? Looks humongous. Dont see the straps in the video. They're included? The guy above talking about sealskin says it could blow off easily. Do you have any videos demonstrating that they wouldn't fly off?
Great product in Texas…. Has saved me several times with no scratches. I have multiple cars so no the garage is not an option. I use this product on my Range Rover, corvettes, viper, Mercedes AMG, and other classic show cars I have and even on my work trucks…. Ultimately this option was better then doing nothing and the results are exceptional. Thanks car armor
Too bulky to store easily, and heavy winds can blow it off. I just bought a sealskin hail cover that fits in the toolbox of my truck, along with a couple $10 furniture moving pads I can toss under the cover just in case. Total $180
That’s very creative, but how many moving pads will you need to put all over a large truck, dually, SUV, and store them? Also seal skin is not tested with large hail, pea size at best. These covers all come with tie downs all around the cover for high winds, we actually impact test for large hail, and rolled up is 18x18x38, sure not tiny, but alternate is 10000 dents.
How so? The covers are made aerodynamic, have tie downs all over the cover, including protection against large hail . Not sure how you came up with this conclusion
Number one that is the best way to scratch your car by putting something on the ground that's that big and then putting it back on your car with all the dirt and grit second that thing is definitely not going to stay on in the Wind
So the cover has tie downs all over the cover and we’re mentioned while deploying the cover. So what hail cover is there that protects against large size hail, and can be used for truck or large SUVs would not touch any surface? Scratches occur during windy days, driving, ect.
Actually, you would have to know how to roll cover up, untie all the secure ropes, and assuming you have an extra large vehicle , the unrolled cover is 21 feet long and 14 feet wide. My guess is not so easy.
@@TheCarArmor Well given it only "protects" the upper part of hte car and the bottoms of the doors are still exxposed to the hail storm to value of the product is questionable. Also, just how thick is that padding? Given the size of hail we get where I live, 5 - 10+ cm's, on a regular basis, I'd question the effectiveness of this product on that ground too. EDIT: Forgot to mention, just how are you going to tie that on the car? Every single hail storm I've been through in my life, that had the possibility of damaging a car, had wind speeds over 50kms.
Bought mine a year ago and thank god I did … we had a hail storm 3 days ago SOFTBALL size and didn’t even have a single dent on my car with this thing. Appreciate it Rob 🎉😎
Respectfully, regular car cover won’t help against hail, and it’ll take more than a few cushions when an average vehicle is 15-20 feet length, 6-7 feet wide, and let’s not forget any side protection. How many cushions will that take and where will they all be stored.
Actually wrong on both statements , every cover has several tie downs for even the highest winds. Also the majority of severe weather gives you several hours and in many cases days to expect severe inclement weather conditions.
Lets say totally hypothetically im equipped with several radio antennas, a light bar, some sensors, and a death wish, will a couple of these, and some extra fabrication with a blade and glue do the trick against 140 mph baseballs?
In future when you video with your cell phone. Position it horizontally. This is the preferred format for all DSLR/mirror less cameras and camcorders. You will get more width which shows more of your product and you will still have plenty of height.
You’ll get the same exact results with any cover in the market failure. This is a preventative cover as they all are. Best to know the weather, have a weather apt , ect..
Why would you wait until that exact point to decide to care? Do you not have weather alerts? Does your life occur in 5 minute increments and nothing before or after? People buy this product because they're preparing, not reacting.
This is cool when you don’t use the car but most people use their cars daily . Plus stopping and jumping out with a cover in 70 mile wind is not easy while getting hit by golf ball size hail
I dont think this is full proof, but it can really lessen the damage. We are having a crazy summer here in Denver full of weekly hail storms, I'm gonna order one.
