It is above average in Punta Cana and especially heavy in Puerto Plata. www.caribeez.com/dominican-republic/article/dominican-republic-weather-in-november
The weather in February is usually comfortable but a bit cool. If you like spending time on beaches, you are better off going in April or May. www.caribeez.com/bahamas/article/bahamas-weather-in-february
I have some friends down there right now. The locals are saying that June weather now arrives in late April! Temps are 93-95 with 103-115 heat index. And that sargassum is a problem also.
Hi there! I just came across your video as I was looking into the weather in Cancun beginning of September. I am booking at one of the Xcaret hotel for week of September. Is this a bad decision or since it’s the beginning of September we should be ok? Curious what your thoughts are. Thanks!
In 2016 I was in key West in July very hot it was 90 degrees at midnight that was 5 degrees hotter than TN where I live in the day time July is very hot in key West I have found Puerto Rico in January the best time for a vacation
If it rains in the Martinique or the other islands in September, how is the rain? Are the rain days full rain days, or is it just like two hours rain followed by sunshine everyday? Thanks alot in advance!
In our experience, the rain is usually brief unless there is a nearby tropical storm or hurricane. September also is known for heavier clouds than usual, so sunshine doesn't always last long. That said, you might get lucky.
Or worse, they skip a port altogether and don't give you another one. It has happened to use twice. Otherwise, I'm sorry to hear your trip didn't go as planned.
Would you ever go to Cancun, say February and June? I have heard sargassum is really bad in June. I am a solo traveler just looking to get some sun and get away!!! :)
We have been there in February and did not enjoy the chilly water and strong trade winds. We also have been there during the summer and did not have a problem with seaweed. That said, our February was cooler than normal, and we may have been lucky with seaweed. If you enjoy swimming as much as I do, I would go during June. If you prefer land activities more, I suggest February.
How's the seaweed situation in March? I'm looking at different hotels and I'm afraid we won't be able to enjoy the beach. I know there's other things to do. We went to Playa Maroma in January 2022 and it was beautiful!
January usually has a low chance of rain, but I'm a little more concerned about the temperatures. They are sometimes chilly at night and bring down water temperatures, which matters if you like to spend time on the beach. Given a choice, I would wait and go in March or April.
I cruise next month to the Bahamas. Worried that the weather won't be warm. Didn't think it would get to the low 70s over there. Booked a jetski ride, so bummed about the chilly water.
It's a decent time to go for land activities such as shopping, dining and entertainment. But water temperatures will feel a bit chilly for swimming. www.caribeez.com/bahamas/article/bahamas-weather-in-december
Im going tomorrow, kinda scared of the weather predictions... we payed a lot to go there and it will be a shame if we only get clouds and rain... but i hope its strong but short and the sun will be back after
Hi, there! Thanks for the video. My bf and I are going to Cancùn for a week starting next Thursday (Nov. 4th). Just at the end of the wettest months. We’re a bit nervous about the weather, but still looking forward to go as we’ve been planning this since March! Do you think we’ll manage to have some sun/nice weather? Thanks in advance! 😊
Yes, 82 /27 in the middle of the afternoon on a sunny day is warm enough to enjoy time on the beach. Nighttime temperatures in the 60s chill water temperatures, especially in the mornings with strong winter trade winds.
Do you have any information on San Andres colombia in October Need answers quick on the weather if you can please contact me or come in as soon as you can
This is total opposite of this guy’s suggestion. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iN5-s6z_a5w.html Have you been in Cancun during the Sept & Oct timeframe? Or are you just going with stats?
I'm going with 30 years of stats from Mexico's government meteorology service. Those are hard facts. I would never go with just my personal experience because it depends too much on luck with the weather. That said, there is one reason why I MIGHT go in September and October. Because prices are way down -- thanks to a huge risk of rain. But I would only book at the last minute and after I saw a good weather forecast for the next 10 days.
Out of all of my trips through the Caribbean, I can say that only one had bad weather all week. We dealt with it by coming up with new ways of making it worthwhile. The odds are good that you'll have at least have some decent days of weather. Good luck!
San Andrés has a dry season from January through April. The rainy season hits the high point from September through November. Average daytime temperatures stay around 29 to 30 degrees Celsius for most of the year. San Andrés tiene una estación seca de enero a abril. La temporada de lluvias alcanza su punto más alto desde septiembre hasta noviembre. Las temperaturas medias durante el día se mantienen entre 29 y 30 grados centígrados durante la mayor parte del año.
I am so dead. When you said there were few hurricanes in November I said “November is a good time to go, then” and you said “November is a good time to go” right after! 😂 Great video, thank you for the info!
Ha, well, great minds and all of that. If you haven't committed yet, you might have better luck with December. But November is much better than September or October.
@@Caribeez My wife & I love the Caribbean and we've been to many of the lslands down there. The Bahamas, Barbados, Turks & Caicos, Maya Riviera, Grenada & the Dominican Republic. Jamaica is our favorite Island. We love the people, the culture, the Reggie vibe and the beautiful beaches. We've been there 8 times. Our first trip to Jamaica was back in June 1978. We're going again the end of May or early June. We can hardly wait!
@@Caribeez Until the COVID Pandemic improves a little bit more, my wife & I are not sure if we'll be able to go to Jamaica in May or early June. We were thinking of going the last week of August. Is August a good time to go? I know you said September and October are pretty rainy.
I was in Cancun for two weeks in September and it was absolutely beautiful. It was sunny every day, but each afternoon around 4-5pm there was a tropical downpour that would only last about an hour or so. It had no negative impact on the trip whatsoever. I actually highly prefer this time of year because it is much less crowded. You will have most beaches/cenotes/ruins/etc virtually to yourself.
