The Chindian Diaries is for those who identify themselves as a Chindian (Indian and Chinese heritage). It aims to capture the untold stories of both cultures.
The objective is to find stories of your experiences growing up as a Chindian child. What were some of your difficulties? What were some of your joys? Do you have stories about growing up with mixed parentage?
The Chindian Diaries also seeks to find current stories of inter-racial Indian and Chinese couples.
In our race for progress, we often forget many things about our past. Many forgotten stories about how our parents met, their struggles of coming from different cultural background. If we don't capture those stories, it will forever be forgotten.
Once upon a time, such people were forcibly converted to Islam, later they invaded India as Turks and Mughals. Being Buddhists and Sikhs is much more intelligent and humane choice
Never been blown away by such an authentic Tamil accent as if he was raised in Tamil Nadu. Not even some native Tamils from Malaysia could match his authenticity.
World’s two biggest populations are bound to meet somewhere and have family. My mom’s paternal aunt had a Chinese husband and had two sons. They lived in Siliguri, India. When the China India war broke out in 1960s the Indian government ousted the husband along with the sons leaving the wife alone. They apparently had a huge farm where they used to grow rice and had cattle. She died alone in the farm and during her death there wasn’t a single person to give her a glass of water. She died completely without the knowledge of where her sons and husband had gone.
Cases like this are just disheartening. People fought so hard for us to all be free and I just cannot understand why interaccial couples make people so upset. How is it any of your business, who other people date?
I am Indian. This is pure BS from the paternal side. This is nothing new. She (you) wont convince the dad of the hypocrisy unless she (you) leaves the house. That's STEP 1.
Why is the world beauty standard only for the Caucasoid and Mongoloid races? The world incorporates the Malay race into the Mongoloid so that the Malays have a crisis of racial identity. Many Malays want to be like Europeans, Arabs, India , Chinese, Koreans, Japanese. Muslim world belittles the Malay race? Really unfair.😞
