I call BS. The VIN for this car as posted on your website is "4Z64A570829". The fifth digit denotes the engine as an "A-code" which is a civilian-model 460-4V. If it was truly a 460 Police Interceptor, it would be a "C-code". But FoMoCo never offered the C-code in civilian cars. So stop misleading people by saying this is a 460 Police Interceptor.
We had a twin to this , but in Emerald Green . My wife loved the barn doors on the back , no leaning over a tailgate , or ducking under a lift gate . Too bad GM dropped the door option .
The big question: is it a gasser ( in which this is ludicrously overpriced ) or is this the 7.3 powerstroke ( in which case this is a justifiable price )
Those cars were quite comfortable to drive or ride in. They were big long wheelbase cars that were best on the road. They got good fuel mileage on the road for a big car, not so much around town.
What an interesting look and shape it has. From some angles it looks like an American muscle, but from others it looks like it could pass as a family coupe. And it head and tail lights certainly aren't anything you'd see on a muscle car. But given it has a V8 seems like they were trying to get some speed out of it.
I bought one of these years ago in Florida. It was in excellent condition but sun faded naturally brought it up north and took it to a carwash the blower dryer peeled the vinyl top completely off. My fault I should have known better. 😂
@@frankmanmotorcompany453 A friend had been driving behind me one time and mentioned my vinyl top would belly up when I got to over 40 mph. I should have known the adhesive from being in Florida had lost its adhesion and never took it through the car wash until it was repaired.
